Mine is a photo from the cover shoot of Streisand's 'The Broadway Album' from 1985. There's a few reasons behind it...
1. As a Streisand fan from the age of 13 (1976-77), this became my favorite album of hers upon receiving it for a Christmas gift that year (1985). I was not familiar with Broadway music that much, as I (my family) never went to touring B'way musicals, etc. I knew some of the songs from singers who recorded them in the 60s and 70s - but never knew the meaning or the context of the songs. Streisand turned me into a fan of Broadway musicals through this album, as I needed to know as much about each song as I could.
2. The photo itself just captures the ambience of what a Broadway theater truly is (IMO) . And the Streisand props - starting with the office chair she's sitting in - is a throwback to her beginnings with "Miss Marmelstein".
Mine is a picture of the stunning Catherine Zeta-Jones I took at the Opening Night Party of the revival of "A Little Night Music" at Tavern on the Green. It was a great night for me because I got to meet and speak with Stephen Sondheim for the first time.

my current one is from Great Comet's performance at the Tonys last year. It was my first time going to the Tonys and that performance was the most lasting memory for me.
Sondheimite said: "My picture is The Fireman from the first scene of Twin Peaks: The Return, which I think is the pinnacle of what television could be."
Mine is Audrey Horne from Twin Peaks. Definitely the pinnacle of what television can be.
My profile image is a photo of an original painting I bought called “Overlooking Empire State Building” by Chin H. Shin, a local NY artist. Check out his amazing work, which mostly focuses on NY cityscapes!
Mine is the window card for the 1994 Lincoln Center revival of Carousel. I chose it for the same reason I chose my name. I wish I could have seen this production.
Phantom was my gateway drug into musical theatre and will probably be my favorite show till the day I die. When my husband and I went to Paris for our honeymoon, we booked a private tour of the Palais Garnier, during which I took this close-up photograph of the door to Box 5. The brass plaque on the door reads:
"Loge du Fantôme de l’Opéra" (Box of the Phantom of the Opera)

Mine is the marquee of the Shubert while Spamalot was playing there. Spamalot is my favorite musical because it's fun and makes me laugh, and I thought the picture was really cool!
God, the almighty and all-knowing, has misplaced a cup?
A mini-collage of four production stills (of young actresses) that I thought had an adorable aesthetic. If you look closely, the two on the left are wearing yellow, and the two on the right are wearing red. That was completely unplanned.
Anyway, clockwise from top left: Ariana Debose in Bronx Tale, Autumn Hulbert in A Taste of Things to Come, Phillipa Soo in Amelie, and Emma Stone in La La Land.
Papershroud, I've been Tweeting at Funko for ages to do a full-blown Broadway character line.
I am an aspiring music director/conductor, and in a pre-COVID world, whenever I saw a B’way musical I would stand outside the pit after a performance ended and speak to whoever was conducting about my dreams and goals.
This is how I met Meg Zervoulis at “The Prom”. Of the MDs I have met so far, I have gotten the most support from her and we’ve been close ever since. She felt so inspired by me when I first met her that she said she would do anything to help me along the way.
When my schedule was free a few months later, she invited me to observe/audit her associate one evening at “The Prom” and took me backstage afterwards, which is when my profile picture was taken. The whole experience felt unreal. She also invited me to a rehearsal of one of her works in development, where I first met her “Mean Girls” cohorts Liz Doran and Mary-Mitchell Campbell.
The amount of love and appreciation I have for Meg is endless. I feel so lucky to have someone like her in my life right now, and she is always a text message or phone call away.
This is Cunard's ocean liner Queen Mary 2, with a NYC backdrop. My husband and I enjoyed a Caribbean cruise on the Queen Mary 2 some years ago. In 2022, Cunard is scheduled to launch their fourth new ocean liner Queen Anne.
