Yeah, HoshiForever! Her Defying Gravity (especially her "look to the western sky") sent chills down my spine.

Eden Espinosa stole my heart the first time I saw her.
I also adore Kristy Cates and Julie Reiber.
All 3 are the fiercest women to play Elphaba. (IMO)

for me, Julia Murney is the only one who somehow channeled Margaret Hamilton, which really game me the sense that Elphaba really could turn into a wicked witch. For that reason (and becuase I think her voice is a revelation compared to all other Elphie's) she is my favorite.

But I heard Kerry Ellis recently on youtube, and I think her vocals are really effortless and beautiful.
