Zeta Jones & Angela's Night Music contracts?

They have 6 month contracts right? I'm going to see it on March 31st & some one I know says that CZJ is leaving at the end of January. That is incorrect right?

Catherine Zeta-Jones will not appear in A Little Night Music from 2/16 through 2/21 and from 3/30 through 4/4.

I wonder if they might bring in another name for those weeks. Obviously, not one as big as Zeta-Jones, but a semi-recognizable name. Or is that sort of impossible? I know Liza Minnelli covered for Julie Andrews when her VICTOR/VICTORIA vacation came around, so I thought this could be a similar situation.

Jayne Paterson is going on for those weeks (it's on Telecharge). I believe there will be a discount offered for those weeks.

I will definitely be attending when Jayne is on for Desiree. I think she's fantastic. I just saw with CZJ and AL last night, so I don't mind seeing it without one of them, now that I was able to see both. Jayne was quite good in the show in her respective role.

Catherine Zeta-Jones is contracted through June 13th
Angela Lansbury through April 4th

This information can be found at the Kerr's box office. Most seem to think there is a strong possibility Lansbury will renew through the Tonys.

Then why bring it up? If you're not going to have the BALLS to be upfront and honest, don't bother acting like you know it all. It only makes you look pretentious.

For example, I work with Disney Theatrics - but I don't go into Disney threads saying that I'm not sure I should share because "I'd rather not risk my job".

If I'd like to share some news, I will post it. If I can't, I won't even reply to the thread. Try doing the same! It will only help your image. xoxoxo

How disappointing to read that Angela's contract is up April 4, since my ticket is for May 5. Telecharge certainly did not advertise this bit of info when I bought my ticket last month. I hope Ljay889 is correct and she extends. I believe she will go on vacation when Zeta Jones comes back, then stay till the rest of the run. I think this production never intended to be a "long running show" and is more a "theatre event". Anyway I hope to see them both.

Tickets are on sale until June 20th. But they will surely add a new block of tickets. Besides Zeta-Jones and Angela, the rest of the cast signed for a year (not sure how long Hanson is signed for).
