Heard that Be More Chill is headed to the Lyceum in February...another straight play theatre going to a musical.

This could have been posted on the numerous other threads about this show.   Just look at the first page on the Broadway board.  This is dumb and unnecessary for a random, false rumor.

I wouldnt say its 100% false but this is not the theatre I heard it was going into.

I've only sat in the orchestra in the Lyceum for TPTGW but the seats felt close enough that I think a small(er) show like BMC could work in there. If this is actually true.

I've seen a ton of small shows there - albeit from the balcony - "Scottsboro Boys" "The Visit" - but this show will die there. Wrong. It should be at New World or Minetta Lane.

If it does move to Broadway...could it work at CITS? Haven't seen the show and have no plans but the smallest houses avail after the New Year will be: Lyceum, Kerr and probably CITS as I don't see OOTI lasting past then.

How about the Booth Theater? I know that American Son wraps up sometime in January unless it extends

I'm not sure SON can extend much.  It's my understanding Washington has an unannounced series she's going to start shooting early in the new year when the play is done.

Don't see why they would restage it to be in the round or thrust just to be in that theatre.
