Why would they close on a Thursday? Doesn't that seem odd?
Or do you think the last weekend will be "invitation only"?

I imagine the prices by the scalpers for tickets to the original closing performance will plummet?

I'm guessing the people that have tickets to what they thought was the "final" performance care.

It doesn't ruffle any of my feathers, but there are going to be some infuriated RENT-heads out there. I know someone who was able to sell their "Final Performance" ticket to an obsessed-fan for $1000. Just imagine the madness now.

Now rentheads dont have to pay $1000 for tickets. If they're quick.

This is gonna be great. (The controversy, I mean. I could care less about the extension).

What a joke.
What the hell kind of game are they playing.
Why is there no official announcement?

I still wouldn't buy a ticket for 9/4 until we know what the deal is for that weekend.

Got my tickets. :) I'll buy new tickets if there's a new date, I just don't want to miss out.

I"m tempted to buy a pair of tickets so that in case this is the last show, I could sell them to a Renthead for a large amount of money.

Yeah, so am I. But, I'd never be able to explain that to my parents.

I heard that on the real closing date Idina will perform the entire show by herself in green face paint. Can anyone confirm?
