...between Mary Poppins, Les Miz, and Drowsy, what would you see???

I am going to NYC in April and I almost never get to go because I live in NC, so.. I know these shows are very different, but what would you choose??

It's apples and oranges. My question for you is...what are you in the mood for?

re: if you had to choose...

All three of the shows are completely diffrent.

Les Miz - If you are in the mood for a big spectacle/drama.

Drowsy - If you are in the mood for a great original musical comedy.

Mary Poppins - If you are in the mood for a big, lavish, good, disney show.

Personaly, I would go see CURTAINS.

If you ask me, I'd see Grey Gardens to see a guaranteed Tony winner.

I think it might make a difference how old you are and if you like happy or sad musicals.
I'm such a bobo.

If I had to choose from AMONG the three-I would choose Les mis.
Other than that, did you enjoy the play Mrs Lincoln?

Drowsy.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

re: if you had to choose...

Of those three shows, only one is on my schedule of "shows to see!!!" when I get to New York next. And that's 'Les Miserables'. But I would most likely recommend 'Mary Poppins' without any further context. 'Les Mis' can be kinda heavy-going, and 'Drowsy' I hear can be a bit hit-and-miss for individuals. They're both grand if you're really into theatre, but (even though you're posting on a theatre site ;D) I don't know if you are. So 'Mary Poppins' is my safe recommendation. Plus it's wonderful. :3

re: if you had to choose...

I'd have to go with Drowsy, but if you have NEVER seen Les Miz then I'd go with that!
So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?
