that can be answered by seeing if they're still picketing Legally Blonde... as they have Sunday Evenings... but since Earthcam doesn't show The Palace... anyone near Times Square who could answer that question?
Umm... isn't that them picketing under the marriott sign right there? Right near Drowsy?
ETA: this was in response to the picture billynj posted. I don't see them there now, but they were there in the picture he had. Color me confused.

I did not know about earthcam but that is the second coolest thing I've ever seen. The first being the absence of strikers outside the theatre.
"It means nothing to come and sit in a theater night after night and immerse yourself in fantasy, only then to walk out the door and be unchanged in reality. This show will live on in our hearts. But where it truly must survive is in our actions, our compassion and our generousity of spirit towards one another." - Adam Pascal on the closing of RENT
I 2nd JulianHookbucks's question. I'm not seeing them anywhere...

I think they leave when the last show for the day would get out (i.e. when their workday would normally end).
However, the curtain should be going up on the evening performance of Drowsy in about an hour, so they have no reason to be leaving, unless of course, they are on a break.
We have it on good authority that nothing has happened yet. That isn't to say things aren't going to be resolved but talk of the end of the strike is premature at this point. Any pickets that have come down were just because it's Sunday night.
I just talked to a friend who said the pickets were coming down at Phantom. My friend is gonna check out some of the other shows. I'll post if I find out anything else.
I am getting a good laugh out of the person pretending to be the Statue of Liberty holding the American flag in the middle of Times Square...quite funny.
And why would people get calls to go back to the theatre?
"If we don't wake up
and shake the nation,
we'll eat the dust of the world,
wondering why...why?"
