Thanks Mooo. That explains the pickets coming down. Still gonna hope for the best.
I think I am going to drop dead if I have to wait any longer.
The Statue of Liberty looks awfully lonely. Where is the Naked Cowboy when you need him?

Yes, I think someone is trying to make us all drop dead, what with these erroneous reports. I suppose that would end the strike -- if everyone just died.
The Naked Cowboy? Is he still around? I saw him sometime over the summer. I think it was when I saw Legally Blonde. But I always feel bad for the guy who has to dress up as Spiderman. How degrading.

Maybe the Naked Cowboy dropped dead like the rest of us.
Oh, wait, I'm not quite dead yet!

I saw the naked cowboy the day i was there for broadway on broadway... i think.
If the strike is indeed over, and everyone's still alive (haha), I don't think the shows would go on. They did say Broadway was cancelled through the twenty-fifth. I think the soonest they can hope to be back up is Wednesday.
but why would picketers for shows that have Sunday Evening shows go home now rather than picket for all 8 shows of the week? That just doesn't make sense.
Dinner break perhaps? Don't know....I don't see a single person at all.
FYI- There's a Naked Cowgirl! too -In case you guys did not know.
I saw her when I saw CYRANO a few weeks ago.. she's topless- but her nipples were coverted with some sort of rhinestones.. I should have taken her picture ..but you have to give her money for that.. and no way I am posting with a topless woman ..LOL !

Ah, what else is there to do in these dark and troubled times --what with people dying right and left at broadwayworld.com.

According to the Union's web site, they are supposed to picket until 8pm on Sundays.

So if that's true, maybe a good sign? *Fingers crossed*

pickets follow box office times. we left cause the box offices would be closed by now. still nothing on the talks.
relax.
ok... so... what I want to know is... even though performaces are cancelled right now... when are the hours that Local One is instructed to strike? Someone just suggested that because the performances were cancelled tonight that the picketers would probably not picket for a 7PM Sunday show... anyone know this answer?

We could always go back to debating Idina vs. Shoshana, or Ragtime vs. Lion King...

"Matt, I must admit, I did enjoy the "St." in quotation marks post!"
Not even trying to be funny either.
And don't make me choose between...ok, Ragtime.
but localonecrew, what about shows that have Sunday evening shows? Do their box offices close early now because of the cancellation of the performances?

Can we talk about whether or not Idina and Kristin are actually BFF's 4 LyFe!!11shiftone!!! instead?
Kidding.
This waiting is killing me. I'm so anxious to find out what the verdict is here.
