Has anyone seen the front page of BroadwayWorld.com. And I wish they'd take down that picture of Charlotte St. Martin cuz that's just insulting.

Charlotte St. Martin looks like a Dr. Seuss character.
The anticipation is KILLING me...
Looks like I got my hopes up for nothing.

Sorry, neddy, I don't see the resemblance. All I see is a cold, heartless woman who does not care about the rest of the theatre world so long as she still makes money.
Yeah, which makes me think the only thing left to do was finalize the deal. Still, I am not giving up hope.

NY1 just had a story where they said that while no deal has been reached yet, both sides are optimistic that a deal WILL be reached by daybreak tomorrow.
Does the torture never END?

Probably not the same deal though. The stagehands are probably thinking that the deal settled will help them and Charlotte "St." Martin is probably hoping that the deal settled will get all the stagehands blacklisted.
Edit: I was replying to Gnosis.

..hmm....
It's only a matter of hours now. How do you explain people being called back to the theatres?
show closings, postponements... meetings to talk about payment and insurance issues as this thing settles in for the long haul...
and a host of other issues none of us know about...
double post! ooops.
Matt, I must admit, I did enjoy the "St." in quotation marks post!

We just got word that guys on the picket lines were told to pull the lines. Don't want to get hopes up but it seems as if something may be happening. No e-mail from the union yet.
NY1 has been doing the same story every half hour, with the same quotes from one of the producers and one of the local one folks, both showing optimism, but the tape is from this morning.
strike cam does not show anyone outside the Marquis

Have the strikes stayed on Sunday's post matinees the past two weekends?
In other words - did they leave because something's new - or just because it's post-showtime on Sunday?
