So opening night was AMAZING!! I had a question, does anyone know where they had their opening night party!? There are pictures of the gang on wire image!
Also, weren't the playbills suppose to be come with an official opening night sticker...cause mine didn't!

That whole Opening Night sticker thing is a scam that the Playbill.com Store pulls on unsuspecting tourists who are willing to dish out ten bucks for a Playbill.
Those stickers are not on real Opening Night Playbills.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
The only thing that distinguishes an Opening Night Playbill from a regular Playbill is what is listed at the top of the title page inside:

Was at Opening Night also, up in the balcony with a very loud and proud and loving group of fan-boys. *word*
By the end of the night, my throat was dry from the over-abundance of screaming and cheers following literally every song, actor-entrance, and self-referential joke.
I've never experienced a Standing-Ovation before the end of a show. At the end of "Nine People's Favorite Thing" the balcony leaped to its feet... the applause lasted and lasted... subsided then waved into an uproar when the "get to your feet" vibe spread down to the mezzanine and then the orchestra. A full 2 minutes of applause.
Starting with Susan and spreading down the line, their smiling faces just shattered into tear-streaked weeps and beat-red unbelievability. They finished the show in complete euphoria. Michael Berresse came to the stage, also a hot tranny mess. Everyone on Cloud 9.
I've had Most Beautiful (Sunday), Most Emotional (Sweeney) and Most Hit-Home (Spring Awakening), but [title of show] heralds the Most Euphoric platform. Utterly amazing moment to experience, as a fan both of their journey and original theatre.
*ahem* Mister WannaBeAFoster, Andy, just from WHOM did you learn about that special Opening Night Playbill distinction??? :)
Ummm... It TOTALLY just occurred to me that the Power 5 all have B last-names! Bell, Berresse, Blackwell, Blickenstaff and Bowen... plus some Pressgrove on the side!

Friends: I just clicked through 270 photos of [title of show] Opening Night (backstage, curtain call & party) taken by the incredible Peter James Zielinski... and they are magnificent. He captured some breath-taking and joyous moments. I don't know when they will be posted on BWW and elsewhere, but patience, because it'll be worth it! Updated On: 7/19/08 at 04:34 PM
Thanks you guys for the answer about the opening night playbill and the after party. I thought it was real because in LA I attended Annie the day after opening night, and I got a playbill with that sticker on there (I guess they had left overs).
Susan looks beautiful. I agree with other posters here about the audience's response. AMAZING! I've never had that experience and I glad I did, and it was with [tos].
Went back for trip #2 today. I can't say enough good things about this show. I also took my best friend (who is not the "insider" that the show will supposedly only appeal to). She was thanking me as we were walking out of the theatre. Loved every second of it.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Heidi is a knock-out no question about it, but Susan looks beyond fabulous too, and her dress is just absolutely AMAZING!!! I'm loving the photos and just itching to go to the show again :o
I almost lottoed today because I was in the area but I had kind of a lot of stuff with me (had just gotten off a bus at port authority) and none of my local tosser friends were free so I somehow managed to restrain... but boy was it hard. haha
...it'll get here, oh, it'll get here...

Taylor, seeing those photos of the guys overcome at the curtain call made me cry too. It's so heartwarming to have followed the show for years (ever since the Vineyard...I tried to see it at the Festival but it was solidly sold out) and see that these kids have really realized their dream...it's finally hit them at that moment. [title of show] - YOU DID IT!

So I've (sadly) only been able to listen to the CD, and I'm DYING to know the song changes that were made. I've looked all over the place online, and can't find them. Can someone list any of the changes they remember? Thanks!
