Um if y'all go on the site that shall not be named and search "[title of show] opening night," you might find something of interest.
I'm seeing it Tuesday night.
Glad you hear you guys like the photos (sorry for the delay) :)
If you haven't seen the show yet...please check it out.
Can't wait to see it tomorrow :) :) :)
I'm so excited about seeing this tomorrow that I think I'm developing Restless Leg Syndrome.
Or is that the lingering after-effects of seeing Mamma Mia yesterday?
so what did you think Joey?
Wow.
PalJoey, Person Number 9.
PJ, glad to hear you loved it!
Excellence... We have converted another... MWAHAHAHA!!!
Anyone know when the merchandise will be available online? I'm seeing the show in August (and probably many, many times after that) but I'm really dying to get to order some shirts and such.
It's not the quips and the cleverness and the obscure theater references that make it extraordinary.
It's the heart. It's about being true to yourself and the pain that you inevitably go through if you do so. It's about the sheer joy you experience when you get to do that, for however long that lasts.
I think we should banish all talk of it being "too insidery." It's no more "insider" than A Chorus Line.
If they producers are smart--and I think Rent and Avenue Q prove they are--they will market this on it's emotional content as a show with "heart" and get it to run for a surprisingly long time.
That gotta-kill-your-own-vampires thing is what I didn't see coming. Came from nowhere and hit me like a ton of bricks.
Guess I'm taking the late train tomorrow...

I told my friend I'd go to restaurant week with her before I knew about this.
So, the question is:
Is it wrong to stand up your friends for [tos]?
I'll be there tomorrow!

Yay! You totally got the message of [tos], PJ! I'm so happy you loved it.
Isn't Susan's spoken description of the Vampire of Despair one of the most chilling and intimate moments you've ever seen on stage?
And is Sutton Foster the June Preisser of Broadway?
And a big shout-out to WonderRobbie and WannaBeAFoster for the CHATTERBOX and YouTube alerts!
See you guys tomorrow!!
Awesome, just reserved a seat for Chatterbox!

Thanks for that great new word, Susan.
Of all the shows I've loved, I could always see why someone would hate them.
[Title of Show] isn't one of those shows.
I don't know what I did for my pre-[tos]ser life.
I'm selling tickets for tomorrow's show - anyone want to go after Chatterbox?
Row B, seats 5 and 7 -- $95 for both!
PM for my phone number so we can meet and exchange tickets/money. =)
(The metaphor of vampire-killing is based on a concept borrowed from the cartoonist and writer Lynda Barry.)
Ahhh...Linda Barry...of COURSE!
I know that this has probably been asked many times so that is why I am not starting a new thread.
I'm doing the lottery with my friend for the Sunday matinee (hides as those reading this scowl at yet another lottery question) and would like a little help!
How many people am I expected to run into? I will be going to TKTS if I don't win but I'm hoping to avoid that since I'm pretty broke. (If I go to TKTS an hour or less before the show..what seats would I be left with?)
Also..does anyone know what order do they pull seats in? Is the first name and last name they call on the far sides of the front row? I saw those seats and they were pretty terrible. I'm hoping at least four people will be with me all fighting for the same two tickets. I'm wondering what set of seats I should claim if multiple people win.
Thank you so much for your help.
Spread the [tos] love! :)
I did lotto at the second preview (which was a Sunday) and again this past Saturday. Everyone won both times. The first time I went I ended up with the center seat. This week, I went with someone else and she was the second name called. We ended up all the way on the end of the row. Those seats actually weren't bad.

Is the stagedoor still super crowded or has it calmed down?
