ON t[tos]s.
Is anyone going to hand out flyers? I know that I'll be there. I love this show.
Just got my assignment. I'll be out front of the St. James Theatre 1pm - 2pm and 7pm - 8pm.

How do you get a job handing out flyers for Bway shows at TKTS?
That seems like something I would want to do.
Heidi Blickenstaff to record for the new Scott Alan CD.

Not sure if you guys have seen this AM New York interview - but I love it! (sorry if it has already been posted somewhere)
"Our Lengthy Post-Closing Notice Interview with Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowen"
http://weblogs.amny.com/entertainment/stage/blog/2008/09/our_lengthy_postclosing_notice.html
"Matt – if you could choose your next role in a currently running Broadway musical, what would it be?
Hunter – Does it have to be age or sex appropriate?
Matt – No. Anything you want.
Jeff – I would like to play Louise in “Gypsy.” The role is understated.
Hunter – I think Mary Poppins. But if I could tap, I’d be Bert.
Jeff – Or it’d be fun to play the Daniel Radcliffe role in “Equus.”
Jeff – Or maybe Billis in “South Pacific.”"

"I think of avant-garde as downtown shows where you rub waffles and chocolate on yourself."
I think that's about to become my new signature.

I emailed yesterday to get a "word" to participate in their "nine People's Favorite Thing" picture/video thingie and haven't heard back yet.
Anyone know what the time frame on this little project is?
Or did all 600 words get taken already....
The deadline to send in your picture was last night at midnight. I would imagine that if some people missed that deadline, those words would be re-assigned to the people who didn't get them in the first round. :)
Good Luck!!

Thanks...since I'm not going to be able to get back to the show before the 12th, I still wanted to be a "part of it all" in some small way.
What I think would be great but most likely wouldn't happen?
PBS great performances
The Hot seat
I just think it needs to be preserved somehow besides the CD.
Hey kids
I have a small problemo...
I created the flyer but I'm not sure if I will be able to be there to help...
I'm scheduled to "fly" between 1-2pm then 7-8pm in front of, yes, the Helen Hayes...
[awkward]
Plus I'm seeing [tos] tomorrow night so I would have to rush to the Lyceum...
If anyone can help message me as soon as you can.
Thanks!
Hey everyone,
So I got adopted tonight thanks to the Adopt An Inter[tos]ser Program
It's now featured on the blog which is exciting- and there are still (at time of posting this) 14 [tos]sers waiting to be adopted.
Robbie's going tomorrow night- please take a [tos]ser with you Robbie!!
Who else is going to one of the shows soon? If you are please adopt a [tos]ser and take them with you, it's not really a massive effort!
check out

For all the details and the list of people waiting for adoption.
Sean
I will probably adopt a tosser! But I'm not going until the 11th so I will wait and see who still needs to be adopted when it gets closer :)

Who handed out flyers today?
I was on the corner of 45th and 6th yesterday and handed out about 200 flyers with a couple dozen people with serious interest who had not heard of the show before.
The best tactic I had was to sing and dance songs from [tos] with my friend.... people on the street were intrigued by it and were more likely to take a flyer.
Also, I know that at least 1 person got interviewed by NY1 yesterday.
I was assigned to flyer outside of Equus but quickly moved over to Shubert Alley and joined forces with a fellow tosser because the people lining up @ Equus either already had tickets to that show or were not interested in even taking the paper.
The day shift (1-2p) was actually more successful than the evening because it was Saturday "date night USA," i.e straight men being dragged to shows by their wives. People were fancy and not looking to take any flyers saying "we're seeing one already."
The people who did stop and talk or take them and actually read them seemed to really show interest.

Also do we know yet, if they are going to do the lottery for closing night?
