I guess Slava's Snowshow moving into the Hayes eliminates the possibility of [tos] transferring :[
I love America. Just because I think gay dudes should be allowed to adopt kids and we should all have hybrid cars doesn't mean I don't love America.

I made a project for [tos] way back in JuLyceum. It's like a stupid little drawing thing and I've had such vampires about sending it. I don't know if it's too late, now!
I would have figured the Helen Hayes would have already been booked- I didn't think Broadway houses were that available.
I think it's time for the '9 College Students Favourite Thing Inspiration Road Trip College Tour'- 4 Chairs, A Keyboard and a mini bus! I think there are a lot of people across the US (and the world of course) that would enjoy the show and inspire them if it 'came to visit'. And the target demographic of college students who really need the inspiration makes it a great market!
But! It's not October 12 Yet- who knows what will happen!!!!
My friend and I did the lottery this afternoon and we were the first called! The show was awesome...I may go back one night this week to see it again :)
I imagine that editing 600+ pictures together into a video might take a while.
I just saw Heidi's commercial.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

oh dear, I can't believe it's the last week of [tos] ;_; I'm so sad I've been far far away (ok, just upstate, but still) and insanely busy at school and therefore not able to participate in all the wonderful things like flyering (and I missed the 900 people's word thing too )
but anyway, I have next Saturday off from rehearsal (I would have a four day weekend if it weren't for the show I'm in--which funnily enough premiered off-broadway at the vineyard this past april! <3[tos]) and was thinking of bussing home to the city overnight to see [tos] one last time and then coming back up to Ithaca Sunday morning... BUT I can't spend a lot on the tickets because the bus is pretty expensive... anyone think the lottery will be too impossibly ridiculous that night? (This is the 11th, so not closing night) or if it might be possible to get tickets at tkts? or if my friend and I tried the lotto and lost we could at least still get nosebleeds (haha) as a last resort?
thanks all <3
...it'll get here, oh, it'll get here...
[believe]
ok, I think our plan is going to be to lotto and then get tickets from the box office if we lose... here's hoping they are like 90-95% sold out, but not more than that haha
...it'll get here, oh, it'll get here...

I got my "word" last Thursday and emailed it back Friday afternoon. The picture kinda sucks (all squinty), but that's not the point.
I can't wait to see it either.
My word was "a." 211-a.
I'll be thinking of all you lucky people Sunday as I sit in a hotel room in San Antonio with my anal-rententive father and brother...probably shedding a tear or two because I'd rather be at the Lyceum sharing what I'm sure will be an amazing night. Updated On: 10/6/08 at 09:28 AM
I'm the guy who made the all the Rice Krispie treats, BroadwaySeventh2! You made my day with your compliment! :)
The official Kellogs recipie doesn't call for it, but I added a teaspoon and a half of really good vanilla to the mixture to the mix. It gives it a little oomph.
Went to the show yesterday afternoon and going tomorrow night with three [tos] virgins. I think everyone's getting sad. The boys have tears in their eyes at poignant moments and at the curtain call. Susan was a littly teary too.
Closing night is going to be unbearable.
"Hurry up and get into your conga clothes - we've got to do something to save this show!"
I finnaly got down here from the great white north, AKA Canada...and saw the show last night, and it was incredible!
I got me a signed windowcard and two t-shirts, which are on sale 2 for $40!
I also adopted an international [tos]er and got him a pencil and playbill!
the stagedoor was busy, but they took time to see everyone, they are super sweet! It took them like an HOUR to get outa the theatre, they were getting "notes"
...on a side note, they keep saying, sunday is the last show, AT THE LYCEUM, and because I like to start me some rumours, I have a fancy producer friend, who informs me that they DEFY have offers to transfer off-broadway...just saying
AND...after seeing the show...I DISAGREE with anyone who thinks it shouldn't have transferred, it was honestly a great Broadway show, and it would not have completed the journey if it hadn;t transferred, and in my humble opinion, I think the show would hep itself so much by going off-broadway again, this musical has broken so many rules about getting to Broadway, and this would be the first time in history a show would transfer back, and that would make some headlines!!...and with some re-writing it could be even better off-BROADWAY!
