Think I have a future as a lyricist? Haha just kidding! But yes, Kudos to you for starting the longest running thread. Of course Cats was the longest running musical, but lets hope they do not compare.

Cabaret (revival).

AIDA
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

HELLO, DOLLY!
It always always raises one's spirits.
By the way I listened to CANDIDE earlier. So exquisite. We shook our heads over the sad, sad quality of the contemporary Broadway musicals. I know you don't want to hear that, but tis true, tis true, my friends.
Now those scores are BROADWAY!
