The entire recorded works of Leonard Bernstein. It's essentially one big theater song. The greatest American theater composer that ever lived, including Sondheim.

I'm actually listening to a CD of old radio Broadcasts. I have a Philip Marlowe playing right now, I believe coming up next is the radio telecast of Anchors Aweigh with Frank and Gene.
Wait! No, it's the Bob Hope show. And an ad for Anchor Hawking Glass.
In my room, it's "Aida." In my car I'm listening to the soundtrack for the musical episode of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Not a real musical, but I sure do love it. Spike's song is definitely my fav :)
Also listening to "Footloose," but purely for choreographing purposes.
"You're the worst thing to happen to musical theatre since Andrew Lloyd Webber!" --Family Guy
"Shut up! It's been 29 years!!!" --the incomparable Patti LuPone in her MUCH DESERVED Tony acceptance speech for Gypsy.

sadly i packed my cd player and all of my cd's this week because i am moving on Friday. sad. I am listening to Green Lounge on iTunes radio. "Where Broadway Divas meet swing."
I have Wicked in right now. It hasn't come out of my CD player since I bought it the day it was released. Too bad Eden isn't Elphaba on the cast recording though...
"You act like you're cleaner than the Board of Heath, but you're just a fame ho just like me. You know it...and you LOVE it!"

West Side Story We just did a ver beautiful choral arrangement of Somewhere. If I am ever in another choir that lets us reccomend music, I will definately reccomend this arrangement. I also really want to do Chichester Psalms again. (Also by Bernstein.) If anyone can tell me if they use Chichester Psalms in a movie or something they will make my day. I've sang it before and I know I had heard it before I sang it.
My avatar is a reminder to myself. I need lots of reminders...
"[My son]'s really into my music, but one day we were listening to Billy [Joel] in the car and he said, 'Daddy, I think Billy's songs are a little better than yours." (Michael Cavanaugh)
