I know reba got a 3 song sampler when stepped it for Bernadette, but she was a high profile replacement as was Shields and they were both done by the Weisslers.

On a similar note, what productions do you think we'll all be bragging about seeing in fifty years? Mamma Mia!- with the orginal cast one of the first shows to open post 9/11 and I saw when the it was the Cadillac Winter Garden before it back to just Winter Garden Les Mis when it was at the Imperial- Alice Ripley was Fantine, Megan Lawrence was Eponine Wicked- Kerry and Kendra Chicago revival when it was at the shubert- Sharon Lawrence was velma and charl

She is such a talent, she needs to come back to broadway soon, if ragtime weren't closing I think she be good as Christianne Noll's replacement, maybe take a crack as Donna in Mamma Mia with her daughter as Sophie, be a replacement Velma or Roxie in Chicago to stop the whole recylcing trend or originate a whole new role. Any thoughts, are there any other roles she would excel in???

If necessary, animate the three new songs written for the stage version Agreed, the animated version was the first cartoon nominated for a best picture oscar, why make a live action version,if anything film it ala peter pan w/cathy rigby, oklahoma w/hugh jackman, and sitpwg and itw w/bernadette peters

Well if this means anything 9 to 5 just won the LA Critics Award for both Score and Choreography so it looks like it do well it those areas, can't say more until I see it on May 23rd

If He Walked Into My Life (Mame)- Mame sings this song when she loses Patrick, but sang out of context could be a song about lost love Winner Takes It All or One of Us (Mamma Mia If I Can't Love Her (Beauty and the Beast) I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face (My Fair Lady) Losing My Mind (Follies)- more unrequited, but could be lost So In Love (Kiss me Kate)- could work posibly, tghe singer is definitely devoted

Its official according to the NY Times "West Side Story" will indeed play the Palace Theatre once "Legally Blonde" closes
