She is such a talent, she needs to come back to broadway soon, if ragtime weren't closing I think she be good as Christianne Noll's replacement, maybe take a crack as Donna in Mamma Mia with her daughter as Sophie, be a replacement Velma or Roxie in Chicago to stop the whole recylcing trend or originate a whole new role. Any thoughts, are there any other roles she would excel in???

If necessary, animate the three new songs written for the stage version

Agreed, the animated version was the first cartoon nominated for a best picture oscar, why make a live action version,if anything film it ala peter pan w/cathy rigby, oklahoma w/hugh jackman, and sitpwg and itw w/bernadette peters

re: Lost Love Broadway showtunes?
 Jan 22 2009, 03:46:06 PM
If He Walked Into My Life (Mame)- Mame sings this song when she loses Patrick, but sang out of context could be a song about lost love

Winner Takes It All or One of Us (Mamma Mia

If I Can't Love Her (Beauty and the Beast)

I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face (My Fair Lady)

Losing My Mind (Follies)- more unrequited, but could be lost

So In Love (Kiss me Kate)- could work posibly, tghe singer is definitely devoted
