Official Netflix page for the film to set a reminder: https://www.netflix.com/title/81323667
This has officially been rated PG-13 by the MPAA, for some strong language and for thematic and suggestive material. Some of the F-bombs must be censored then.

I wonder how they're doing the song The Dress in that case...
^Exactly what I was thinking. Why would they even offer this up to the MPAA for a rating? Not sure what the point of that is.
I'm very curious to see if showing this on Netflix will boost or tank ticket sales.

If I had to bet, I'd guess neither.
The comments on the YouTube posting of the trailer (on the Netflix page) is quite telling. It’s across the board not positive.

What are you talking about?!?
Some people are critizing bec there is another Diana-project around, yes, but NOONE is bitching about the musical itself!!
Not many people have seen it yet, since it's been only played in Sa Diego and a few preview-shows in NYC, but I know that many people loved it - even people who haven't been positive at all before seeing it.
So, have you seen it?
No?
Then I am asking you WHY you are making up stories here for no reason!
I actually really loved that trailer and I’m so excited. Diana deserves to be alive today and I am so grateful we have so many incarnations of her to look forward to at the moment. The reviews of the Kristen Stewart film are also very exciting.

Some interesting infos about it....
I'm excited to see it on Netflix in a few weeks, and can't wait to see it on Broadway soon hopefully!
I quite liked the trailer! I’m intrigued to buy a ticket and can’t say I was before.

Jesus Christ.

Here is my receipt. How am I making up stories? All I mentioned is that the comments are not positive. I didn’t even elaborate as to why. Regardless WHAT they’re saying, the comments are not positive. Very few are saying they’re excited to watch this.
JFC why does EVERYTHING have to turn into an argument on here nowadays?

Yeah, like I've said: This is NOT about the musical itself.
It's because some people feel a high overdose on Diana in the media lately, and they are having enough of it.
Thats understandable,- but does that have something to do with the play??
Creatives started working on it several years ago, - long time before "The Crown" was around, or all these Harry and Meghan-stories happening...
This is a board about BROADWAY-SHOWS & music & actors etc Isn't it?
So I don't really see a reason in bringing totally different subjects up here, just bec people are discussing a the THEME, but not the musical work itself somewhere else...
It would be nice not to bring up negative vibes again and again BEFORE the plays are even running or you have even seen them.... (Not only talking about this one but generally)
....just saying...
People can discuss whatever they want as long as it follows the basic subject on the thread. Diana will always be talked about. So, chill out baby.
but does that have something to do with the play??
Musical, dear.

Oh god, just because everyone has internet, not everyone should feel compelled to comment. It's hard to imagine more idiotic comment than the last one, because of course they've seen ALL the musicals before...
If you were to tell me this footage was from a made up musical featured during the 3rd season of SMASH, I'd believe it.
Hahahahahaha. I just noticed that. Teddie Sage will NOT BE WATCHING THIS MUSICAL. FIRST TIME EVER.

I've been to the previews with some friends last year.
I didn't expect much, but I loved it. So did my friends!
We will go there again in November, and I am looking forward watching it on Netflix soon.

How many performances did they have before Covid? I am going to the first preview, which I prefer not to. But I didn't have a choice for performances within my trip.
According to IBDB, they played 9 performances.
I'm so fascinated to know if any of these Broadway Covid shows made any significant changes during the downtimes. I guess not Diana since it was filmed, but all the other new shows or new stagings.

Thanks, Jordan. I was hoping there was more. I know alot of posters love to go to the first preview. I just prefer seeing a show that has already opened.
