I just remembered during the first Jagged Little Pill, Broadway.com vlog, Laurel Harris was singing Let It Go. I wonder if she was auditioning or had a call back to Frozen.

Would she leave JLP so soon?

I honestly know nothing about this show, it just never interested me. Are the women supposed to be teenagers or something?

Kind of a moot point, the role is someone else's.

They are supposed to be 18 and 21 in the film. I thought Cassie and Patti were too adult looking. More age- appropriate actresses might be around 24 maybe?

Cool, I never knew that. I guess it's whomever is right for the job. Im sure wigs and makeup can help a lot.

maybe instead of casting based on the color of someones skin, maybe we all just hope they hire a wonderfully talented person with a good work ethic. Maybe?

Disappointed it isn’t Samantha doing a test run for London, but can’t wait to find out who it is! Any tips for Anna?

That’s what they’ll be doing. The funny thing is when you stop exclusively casting white people the majority of people who turn out to be the best aren’t always the white people.

I'm still hopeful that Christy Altomare is also in the running for Anna. On one of her most recent Instagram Lives, someone asked about Broadway and she hinted that something might be in the works.
As for Elsa, could it be Ashley Park? She was part of the recent BCEFA Disney on Broadway concert and the majority of the performers there had a connection to Disney on Broadway. I know she's in Grand Horizons but it's not a long overlap.

I think casting blind is awesome, but what I dislike is that KRISTOFF will never not be a POC because he was originated by a POC. Which, I get the argument, but just wish casting was more fluid in both aspects.

This does seem to the trend so far however, the Kristoff understudy on tour is white.
