I do feel that Tony voters tend to prefer original, emotionally-driven, American-grown shows for Best Musical. However, since we don't have one of those this year (as Schmig, Lost Boys, Titanique, Versailles, & Beaches are all based on some form of pre-existing IP & Two Strangers is a West End transfer), it will be interesting to see what happens. My feelings exactly -- taking photos or videos, talking, or audibly eating/drinking during the show is unacceptable and I have no problem respectfully addressing those situations when they arise because I know not everyone was raised in the theater.

Last night was a blast! It was exactly as expected and the cast had fantastic energy. If you love Mamma Mia!, or if you aren't familiar with it, you'll have a great time. I doubt it will win over any haters, but it's their loss.
