Thought Fox did a great job with this truly adventurous production. All three of the leads were great. My heart went out to Vanessa. She is a real trooper. Her dad was looking down on her, smiling and kvelling. (reaping joy)Fox definitely took a look at the 3 productions that NBC did, took note of all their mistakes, and did the opposite. There were no individual bows. The cast came out as a whole, took a bow together, and that was that. It was like WTF was that. They shortchanged a lot of talented people by not giving them their due. Really loved the show but that left me cold.

Saw the original production with Lucie and Robert Klein. A two word review-LOVED IT!!! It was so perfect. From the two leads, Neil Simon, Hamlisch and Sager. What pedigree on that stage.

Two revivals that will never happen, my two staples, Minnies Boys and Golden Rainbow. Even Encores will never do these two.

Wasn't Lovely Ladies, Kind Gentlemen the musical version of Sayonara? I think it did run on Broadway for one or two performances.

Saw this two weeks ago and realized 5 minutes into it that it was dressed up like the main course of a Thanksgiving meal, a TURKEY. The first act was tortuous to sit through but things picked up in act 2. Not a lot, but it did move faster. Sorry to say this but as they sing in Spamalot, "You won't succeed on Broadway if you don't have any Jews" I sort of felt my wife and myself were the only ones from the tribe their that night. Sad but true.

Andy Karl. I thought Rocky would do it for him but that tanked at the box office. Now he is back to supporting roles. On the other hand, he's always working.

I was a member of the Gold Club for several years and did not see one thing from them. Play By Play, got my moneys worth and then some. Joined last July and have seen 9 Broadway and 2 Off Broadway shows. Was it worth it? Yes. Will not hesitate to renew again.

So in other words, Hadassah groups will not be booking this as a theater party fundraiser? Don't know why I am seeing this tonight. Got the tix from one of those papering services. Tried to cancel but it was too late. Oh well.

The most grand and beautiful theatre I have ever been in. Even as kids when we went to the movies, we knew it was a special place. I have not been in there since the restoration, but I look forward to seeing what 65 million dollars look like.

A BIG, BIG Mazel Tov to Kelli on a well deserved win. For me. that was the highlight.
