I remember reading articles about it a while back. An English-language production with the Met orchestra and directed by Lear deBessonet. Any news of it still happening or did the pandemic kill it?
Not New York but the anniversary tour of Les Mis played the Barbican at the same time the original production with the turntable was at the (then) Queen's Theatre in 2010.
Women on the verge and Bridges definitely. I desperately need them to do the 1988 version of Carrie with the original orchestrations and the pig number. A Year with Frog and Toad would be fun.
New details about the show. Anyone plan on seeing this?https://pitchfork.com/thepitch/what-to-expect-from-the-stage-adaptation-of-sufjan-stevens-illinois/?fbclid=IwAR17E-1iNy8UK3FnBkfQiXEoOBdwcRjYq2m_vY346K5pcLl3YBliTwhV5fQ
