I saw Saycon as Aida and she was absolutely fabulous. I assure you that you won't be disappointed.

I was there on Tuesday night and Adam had called out then as well. I don't know what the rest of his week looked like but if he's been calling out then the back story seems to make more sense than the knee story.

Disney is attacking... Broadway will become Disneyway. There will be a select few good shows but it will be mostly Disney crap filled with young children and parents.

I'm 16 as well but I don't think age makes the person. I know 25 year olds who act more like children than I do. Age doesn't necessarily make the person.

Cabaret is closing on the 4th. There was also a link somewhere on the new Disney musicals that should be popping up sometime soon.

I was just wondering if anybody else had any first or second hand experiences at AADA that they'd like to share..

I just read the thread on AMDA and it's basically what I thought to begin with. I was wondering if anybody knew anything about AADA or if anybody goes/went there who could let me know about the school. Thanks ya'll.

That cast for Aida? To each his own I suppose but... eh.

I think Aida would be a really interesting movie. It's the only disney musical that isn't a movie so perhaps they should make it one. Maybe even get the OBC to star in it or at least some of them... *cough* Adam *cough*.

I have never seen Hairspray but from what I have seen from appearances and have heard of the OBCR it doesn't appeal that much to me. I can see how it can be enjoyable to lift spirits because it's filled with cheesy pop music that are very light but I don't understand people who find it to be the most incredible piece of theatre in a long time. It seems very plain and unoriginal to me. Fun once in a while but nothing special.

Most of these aren't realistic because of racial casting but hey you never said realistically play...Aida-title role(I love the music and her parts are so intensely fun to sing. I've also mastered the emotion of "Easy As Life")Rent-Mimi(I've examined the role to no end and I think that I could actually bring some acting to it instead of just great singing)LSOH-Audrey(first show I ever saw live and I've always loved the role)

I'm currently singing "Your Daddy's Son" in my voice lessons. It's a beautiful song.

What somebody is like at stage door, unless unnecessarily rude (i.e. Frenchie) shouldn't effect how you rate their performance. I've never met Krystal and don't care about her skipping out on stage door. All I know is that performancewise she's lacking in my book.

I agree with Sheek. What she's doing is obviously not working. When one way doesn't work try another. It is ridiculous to continue on this path of self destruction. It's a shame though because i've heard some great things about the show. The critical concensus is that it is trash which i'm not completely convinced is the case. I wish that Rosie would get the actors out on more talk shows and get more people aware of the show. Perhaps i'm mistaken but I haven't seen them doing much publicity i...
