I just got tickets for Wednesday night on TDF. Not sure what to expect. This could be really good, or a total disaster. Set in modern times with a black and a white family. Either way I get to look at Orlando Bloom for a few hours.

I looked at it today, It is basically bigger pictures of the ones in the CD booklet. Different layouts but the same pics.

RELAX, Kelly2, no one is trying to bait you. I am just making the point that I an not going to get excited about this until I hear some of it. I don't think Ms Mueller has the Carole King sound. And BTW Carole King is no soprano. So chill out. I am entitled to an opinion.

I want to hear some of this before I get excited. I love Carole King, I grew up listening to her. I am not sure Mueller can pull off the smokey nasal quality that is Carole King. Mueller strike me as more of some one who belts out the lyrics. Not what I a want to listen to for 2.5 hours.

The reason I saw it twice was I went to London in December thought I would enjoy it considering all the awards it won. I did NOT enjoy it. Saw it the second time here, I was leaving a Wednesday matinee of Pippin and they had just started the lottery, so for Shits and Giggles I entered. I won. My Boyfriend had not seen it in London with me so I took the tickets. HE dis-liked it also. I still don't understand all the hype. I also wanted to see if they would Americanize it or keep it British. We...

Saw them both and dis liked them both. Too loud, hard to understand. Didn't care for the story, music or the ending. Wish they had stuck closer to the book.

I was thinking Gabe and Dianna do a dance on the high wire during I Dreamed A Dance. Strangely, It would work as a circus.

Just a thought, when it is revived; Can they do it as a CIRCUS???!!! Sorry, I could not resist.
