Sorry guys but that one was getting out of control. I just thought I would start a new one.
"All the while making faces like a baby platypus who forget to take some Beano before eating a chimichanga." FindingNamo in reference to Jessica Simpson's singing.

So, let's go off shall we? I want to know what everyone considers to be an absloute truth. Tell me please.
I think RENT's the perfect musical. When I want to feel happy...La Vie Boheme. Emo=Without You. Frustrated=RENT. Scaring parents and small children=Contact
I also think Anthony Rapp is a sexy, sexy man. I do not in any way care that I am 16 and he's 33 and that's a no-no in most people's eyes. Bah humbug!
He's also an amazing actor and singer. I love his voice. (I'd post on the real one, but he'd read it and protest that's he's human and doesn't need to be fawned over so much, I disagree, he deserves it...*fawns, fawns, fawns*)
My friends and I have an offical title for each of the OBC of RENT (as well as our other loved ones)...Anthony is the most handcuffable man alive. And we stick by that belief.
1. Ted Allen: Everyone has an interesting life if you ask the right questions.
2. Great buckets of Spoffnor, they're going to sing!
3. "I love shrubs that are historical." -Johnny and The Sprites
4. "We're not singing it to you, we're singing it for us." -Rosario Dawson, about La Vie Boheme
5. "The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." -The History Boys
6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys
Okay, so what do I believe to be an absolute truth? Well, hmmm, that's a tough one. That musicals will either be good or bad, no matter what anyone says. Opinions are opinions, and everyone's entitled to them, and everyone will have them. And life will go on, even if we didn't have celebrities, although celebs make our lives more interesting cuz we tend to live vicariously through them.
"He says... he wants to be obsessed with art, like me. He says... he wants to redevelop the creative side of his brain." - Mark NYTW RENT
*huggles* Thank you for answering. C'mon, people, step it up! Chris has started the movement...follow!

Brilliant idea!!! The queen of threadjacking now has a place to go!
Absolute truth? Hmmm...that there is something worthwhile in everyone and everything, what doesn't kill us will make us stronger, beauty is deeper than skin, and that nothing is just black and white.
If it weren't for the fact that I'm about to pass out from sleep-deprivation I'd probably have more.... Anyways, wow the Anthony Rapp thread now has its very own OT thread...it's getting popular isn't it...
I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart.

But we didn't have any coffee filters...so I used all we had which was...toilet paper...and we didn't have any coffee grinds so I used..peanut butter..and I found that...all you get is scalding hot peanut...water... <---Why should you always memorize your monologues? Oh yes...there was that one Chorus Line audition...
Yeah the name really got me too. I saw the Welcome Anthony Rapp thread and the New Welcome Anthony Rapp thread directly below it and was scratching my head for a bit there. :-P

Probably, since the title has his name on it. :-P But I'm a bit confused....is there an actual point to this thread or is it just if something we want to talk about is mentioned on the old thread, we take those convos here? It's a bit complicated considering that'd mean we'd have to constantly refer to the old thread to keep up with convos here...
