They have nothing to offer other than their extreme obsession with being each other.
It's all gimmick and no substance.
Yes. It's not like they're creating great works of art or offering interesting criticism of the world.
The obsession that two people have to fuse together is intriguing. Stuff like eating the same meals for 7 years and matching drink stains on clothing at a party is so weird that it could make for an interesting play. Maybe they're happy, but in their video reviews there are undercurrents of sadness, loneliness and bitterness.
They remind me of Evelyn Evelyn, the musical performance art concept created by Amanda Palmer about two emotionally traumatized musical savants joined at the torso.
They were bummed that they weren't considered for Side Show.
(I don't think they know what Side Show is.)

That article explains who is top and who is bottom....neither. Obviously if they both ingest the same things then they only do 69.
I've never read any of the reviews they post on the main board. Although they seem to post their reviews of all new shows in the 'review round-up' threads.
Are they lacking in substance, also?
What, exactly, are their 'credentials', and why should we care?
I tried listening to one of their so-called interviews several months ago, and lasted about a minute. All I heard was annoying chatter between the two of them. That was enough for me. They creep me out.

Their credentials are that they dress alike.
Well, there you go! Glad I haven't bothered with them!
I'd rather read what the smart and informed posters of BWW have to say any day. Some of my favorite posts on BWW have been from the people who I admire and respect when they share their connection to a show or their thoughts and feelings about it.
PalJoey, your contributions are among the finest on BWW.
Forget these frauds.

I'd totally buy glass from PalJoey.
I'd rather gouge my eyes out than wear the generic glasses made by these idiots.
I'm confused by their trip to North Korea and communist facade (nevermind that North Korea isn't really communist and if it were would be a horrible representation of that.) I didn't think it was all that easy to really, well, vacation there...
"Are they a couple? " I always assumed they were? How could they ever date anyone else? I don't really mind their theatre reviews exactly--no better or worse than a lot of youtube fan reviews (which isn't saying much,) but I do mind their sense of authority when giving them--when it seems like (and the Times article kinda confirms this,) they just decided to start doing theatre reviews as another avenue of exposure.

They are exactly as bad as every awful YouTube theater chat clip.
