Add me to the disappointed chorus that the preview was a dream all along.
Looking forward to next week!

"Maleficent?"
I thought maybe she would because in the second episode because, despite their differences, Regina would not kill her because she is only only friend. Also, Maleficent is suppose to be part of the season finale.
The promo for next week literally left me reeling - I just love this show so much, and I think it's doing a fantastic job of staying true to things while making these well known stories it's own.
I don't know why I think this is so, but part of me thinks that Jefferson also has some sort of immortality thing attached to his own personal curse. Like, he's forced to not only remember, but face the facts day in and day out knowing what he knows and having to live with it.

I also want to say that I really enjoyed Ginnifer Goodwin's acting when Mary Margaret told Emma that running away was a bad idea and trying to take Henry with her was as well.
Total agreement. I loved Mary Margaret really giving it to Emma and not letting her off the hook.

yeah it was a great Mother/Daughter moment... without either of them knowing it was a mother/daughter moment!
So, what happens if the curse is broken? Does Emma go back to being a baby or does she stay the same age as her mom?
Well the curse didn't effect Emma to begin with. So I don't expect breaking the curse will reverse her aging since it didn't cause it. It would make more sense to me if breaking the curse caused the rest of Storybrook's residents to suddenly advance to their real ages, where they would have been if they hadn't been cursed in the first place...second place.
I loved the Mary Margaret/Emma scene, too. I love when they have their mother/daughter dynamic going on. They play it so naturally.
This show still hasn't been officially renewed for next season yet, right?

I could have sworn they got one of the early pick ups in the midst of the season, but either way, I'm almost positive they'll be getting a second season based off their numbers and success.
Best line of the season. Red you have a little someone on your lip!
The announcement was made today that Once Upon a Time is among the shows getting a second season!!!

So excited! Hope next season, we will see The Little Mermaid, The Frog Prince, and Rapunzel, among other stories. And maybe Sleeping Beauty, even though we have already seen Maleficent. Would be interesting to see how and why Maleficent decided to give up her evil ways.

^ All of those would be great and so would 'Jack and the Beanstalk'.

OK, that was so well done. I do have to say, though, that if you finally have love, what do you need with power?

That was such a great finale. I can't wait to see what will happen now that magic has returned to this world.

SPOILER for what tonight's finale means according to Entertainment Weekly:
"It seemed obvious that Gold wanted to secure the elixir so that he could finally get to work on finding his long-lost son, Baelfire. But instead, Gold used his Love Potion #9 to bring magic into the so-called real world — which means that as of Season 2, he’ll officially be the Dark One again. (It also means that we can officially ditch the Storybrooke names altogether, which might make distinguishing between present-day action and Fairybacks difficult.)
Regina, of course, will also be an incredibly powerful witch once more. And the nuns are going to find themselves sprouting wings pretty soon. And Red will once again g0 through some hairy changes when that time of the month hits. In short, Once has found a way to finally make its Storybrooke plots as interesting as its Fairy Land flashbacks — thus solving one of the series’ most pervasive problems."
'Once Upon a Time' finale react: Holy smokes!
Great ending ... great cliffhanger.
