Just got a signed cast PRIDE playbill from Rock of Ages!
Heard back from Michael C. Hall today. Took a little less than 2 weeks.
Just got a response from Andrea Martin! I wrote her when she at the LA stop with Pippin! It took about 2 months.
If I send to Erin Davie and Emily Padgett today, do you think it will have time to get to NYC in time before the show closes?

Maxkko - where are you writing from?
If you are writing from the midwest (Chicago, Indiana, Ohio, etc.) or closer I think It will get there, but it will be close.

I got a reply from the Stage Manager of Beautiful today. They sent me an unsigned playbill along with a letter requesting a $40 donation to BCEFA for a signed playbill. They said they don't have many signed ones and a lot of requests. Luckily since sending the request 5 months ago I've seen the show and got my playbill signed by the cast at the stage door. So now I have an extra Beautiful playbill.

Hi all - apologies if this has already been mentioned in the thread.
When you send items to be signed and/or even just get a playbill. How do you address it?
I've only sent something once (to Idina Menzel) and have never heard anything back and it's been about 7 months. So just want to make sure I do it right should I want to try someone else.
Thanks, happy new year!
You can address it to the actor (stuff for them) or the Stage Manager (for a cast signed playbill).
I checked my mail today and got a cast signed playbill from Cinderella with the closing cast! Took about two weeks! I now have a playbill from Cinderella signed by every cast! Yay!!

I wrote to Idina about 7 months ago too. Haven't heard anything back either. At this point, I just want my stuff back. You have to send it to the stage door, not just the theatre--I wrote to Jenn Colella and got something back-don't know if that works!
I also have not got my stuff back from Idina. I wonder if she is just really behind (she probably gets a TON)? I have heard stories of it being a year to a year and a half to get stuff back from some performers. I've never sent to the stage door and have never had a problem.
^ I have not tried her directly, but if you sent to stage management you will get a donation request.
Today I got my stuff back from Jeremy Jordan! I sent to him when he was doing Finding Neverland in Boston. I think I sent it to late because Jeremy included a short note saying: "Sorry for the late return. Mail forwarding issues..." - Jeremy. I'm so happy! I had basically given up hope. It took about 2 1/2 months.
Hey everyone! So I've been thinking about sending to Michael Mayer for a while now and I was wondering where I shoud send my stuff? The Vineyard or The Belasco? Or does it not matter at all?
Heard back from Pippin for the last time today. I asked to have Charlotte and John sign some stuff, as well as Rachel Bay Jones. Sad it's gone

When would be a good time to send a letter to John Cameron Mitchell so it's ready and waiting for him at Hedwig?

And does anyone have any suggestions for sending a book to Stephen Sondheim to be signed?
