""I Sent Out 7 requests To Shows Almost A Month Ago And Have Only Had One Response From The Lion King Is That Normal?"
Generally, yes. What shows though?"
Finding Neverland
Wicked LLC
The Phantom Of The Opera
Aladdin
Kinky Boots
Les Miserables (Requested Non Signed Playbill)
The Lion King - Success
All Sent To The Stage Managers
^ with that list, definitely normal.
Finding Neverland sent one batch out and hasn't since then. Wicked and Phantom get a lot also so they can take 2 weeks to 3 months from what I've seen people post on here and Tumblr and other sites. Aladdin usually has some on hand, but you never know... and with all of the stage managers, if you were specifically requesting a pride Playbill because it was June, maybe they didn't have any on hand signed by the cast to send.

Ill Have To Wait And See I Suppose! I Was Hoping To Sent To Jonathan Groff Once Hamilton Opens Would You Recommend Just Sending To Him Or Just To Ask The Stage Manager For A Full Cast Signed Playbill?
Has anyone gotten anything back from Fun Home?
I wrote to the stage manager quite a while ago and I just wrote to Sydney Lucas and Beth Malone. Haven't gotten anything back from them or the stage manager.

Has Any One Gotten Any Thing Back From Finding Neverland Recently? From The Stage Manager And Directly From The Actors?
^ I know Carolee ALWAYS responds no matter the show she's in.
@morgen6202 I got a response from Matthew Morrsion about 3 weeks after I initially sent him the letter and SASE. I know Finding Neverland sends mail out in batches, regardless if it is from an actor or stage manager.
Finding Neverland sent out a batch of signed playbills back in April, and I don't believe they have sent another batch since.
Has anyone had success with sending to Beth Malone over at Fun Home? I'd like to just send her a letter, no autograph request.

"In the last week and a half or so I heard back from Carey Mulligan from Skylight, Amanda Seyfried from The Way We Get By, Charles Shaughnessy from Ever After, Justin Bartha from Permission, and today I got my vintage 1980 Evita playbill back signed by Patti LuPone and a cast signed pride playbill from Shows for Days <3"
I just sent a nice letter and a hand sketched photo to Patti in Shows for Days and asked her for a Shows for Days playbill signed by just her. Does she send back or do you have to have a donation? I sent it to just her and not a cast signed one.
I'm planning on sending out a batch of Playbill requests sometime soon to these people:
- Jessica Keenan Wynn (Beautiful)
- Christian Borle
- Jonathan Groff
- Carolee Carmello
Has anyone heard from any of these people recently? I'm trying to see which ones will respond and which ones will not. Thanks!

I Was Wondering The Same For Jonathan Groff As I Just Sent Out To Him The Other Day. Also Has Anyone Heard From The Amazing Grace Cast Yet?

Has anyone written to Laura Michelle Kelly lately and gotten a response? She was the only one that didn't get to sign my Finding Neverland Playbill but I'm afraid if I send it to be signed, I'll may never see it again. Any help is appreciated!
Heard back from Heisenberg, Amazing Grace, and An American in Paris (after sending a letter to the stage door address and not the theatre address). Heisenberg sent me a cast-signed playbill (no donation), Amazing Grace is asking for a minimum donation of $20 to BC/EFA for a cast-signed playbill, and An American in Paris just sent me an unsigned pride playbill.

I heard back from Kinky Boots And Amazing Grace yesterday. Kinky Boots sent me a cast signed playbill and Amazing Grace sent me an unsigned opening night playbill!
I recently received a signed An American in Paris playbill. (I had to re-send my request to the stage door address as the theater address was sent back return to sender.)
Has anyone who paid the $30 for a Something Rotten playbill received one back yet? I sent my check in back in April and haven't received the Playbill nor has my check been cashed. Just wondering the turn around time. Thanks!
Has anyone recieved something back from Curious Incident? I was hoping to send a request today so that it could get in the mail before Alex Sharp leaves the company.
Who would I send it to and do I send a BCEFA donation?

Carolee always responds to fan mail. No matter what show she's in.
NewsiesForever- for Curious Incident... send to the stage manager. Send a BC/EFA donation if you want todo so... it's not required by this show's management/cast except during collection periods.
azeller- I still haven't received my Something Rotten Playbill either. At this point I'm starting to worry that the cast may actually change before they get signed and sent.
What is the address for the stage door and if I put it into the mail tomorrow is there a good chance that I can get Alex Sharp to sign it?
PS what do I say in the letter to the stage manager? What do people typically say?
Do you want a cast-signed playbill or just a playbill signed by Alex Sharp?

In my letters to the stage manager, I typically say how much I enjoyed the show and pay compliments to the creative team and the company as a whole. I also put emphasis on the fact that I understand and sympathize with how busy the stage manager position is and how I don't want my request to put stress on them to be fulfilled. Thanking the stage manager for taking the time to read, consider, and possibly fulfill your request also goes a long way. I heard back from Curious Incident within a month with no donation request.
On a side note: Has anyone written to Beth Malone over at Fun Home and gotten through? I'm not looking for an autograph request, just looking to send her a letter.
I think I just want one signed by Alex Sharp? So Do I still write the Stage Manager and ask for the cast or just for Alex?
You can address it directly to Alex instead of the stage manager if you'd like just him to sign it.
I recently wrote to Kelli O'Hara, and her Playbill will probably be the most special to me. For one, it's from the show she won her first Tony for, so that's cool. In my letter I mentioned that I was a huge theatre geek, and in the written response (which was on Lincoln Center stationary) she said that there was no such thing as a theatre geek and said I was a "theatre badass." On my playbill she addressed it to my name, then in parentheses "Theatre Badass"
