Oh my GOD HAHAHAHA KAREN OLIVO. In case you missed it, she walked out in crutches, and was asked "What's with the crutches" and she said "This is what happens if you don't take a note from Arthur Laurents".

She seems so friendly.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

She looks like me for the past 3 months! (Only I wouldn't have been able to handle that dress with the crutches!)

Just give the world Love.

After her standing ovation, she walked offstage without giving a speech.

Wow, the audience response for "Memphis" is really really really enthusiastic.

Before score was orchestrations, which was also Memphis, they are 3 for 3 so far.

What's up with the music they're using to play people on and off? The overture to "Candide"? "Small World"? What do those songs have to do with anything?

Memphis wins best book and they play "Make Someone Happy"?
