"Maybe Cher will take over Nick Jonas: she can sing in that vocal range."
Shame he can't...
I'm watching the Les Mis O2 concert right now and while I give Jonas props for doing it (hey, I'm just a teacher), he looks and sounds SO out of his element.
I realize Radcliffe isn't the best singer, though he has improved dramatically since the show opened, but I can't help but think Jonas' presence in the show is going to hurt it more than help it. All those screaming fangirls who will have no regard for theatre etiquette, the clamoring for a new cast album with Jonas, etc. could ruin a great revival.
I doubt the fangirls will be screaming for a new cast album when watching the show/while he is singing etc.. so I don't see how that could 'ruin a great revival' :P.
Jonas won't need fangirls to 'ruin a great revival', he can do it himself!
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Joseph Gordon-Levitt should be playing Finch.
^^^THIS! Phenomenal idea!

Someone who's actually perfect for the role? Don't be ridiculous!

Okay, then how about Usher? He rought in crowds during his tenure in CHICAGO.

I doubt this will be the serious issue people think it will be. I'm sure the house staff will simply not stand for it and will take measures to keep it under control.
I don't think anyone will. They said he is staying until July 1st and tickets are only available until then. I have a strange feeling that is will close then because thats what happened with Brooke Shields in Addams Family.
I bet my life savings that Brooke Shields will be the next Hedy LaRue! Just you wait!!!!
I would have loved to see her do scenes with Radcliffe. It'd be like watching Vizzini and Fezzik!

Alec Baldwin as Jack Donaghy as J. Pierrepont Finch. Done and done.
All three JoBros will step into the role in succession.
Sort of like a repertory.
Four, Taz! There's another Jonas brother who isn't a part of the musical group. I think his name is Frankie or Janet or something like that.
I thought it was Tito Jonas.
I thought I knew who the next Ponty would be, but turns out he was just aborted.

Oh, Dolly, you can't have a black man take a role from those poor, under-represented white actors. Don't you know that color-blind casting is racist?
Imagine if Usher really did step into the role.
Seriously.
Go ahead. I'll wait.
Look on the bright side, Robbie. In 40 years of so, the never-to-be Ponty's mom can play Anna.
And never mind race. Usher is OOOOOLD. Like my age. If you want to go the colorblind route, Tyler the Creator is a much better choice. And as an ad lib, he can call Mr. Twimble a big old f-g after he sings "The Company Way."
Will Smith is going to produce a movie remake with Usher. The action will be moved to Detroit.
Emma Thompson is in talks to write and direct.
Is 33 really OOOOOLD? Never minding that he also looks at least 7 years younger than that and probably will until he's 40. It's because he's got those good black jeans. They flatter him.
They should get Drake!
Or if not him than at least his eyebrows.
(eyebrows work for less than scale too)
