Carrie with re writes
Aspects of Love is just about to kick of a UK tour so you never know it may get to Broadway
I think Carrie could do very well right now, with re-writes and a sane director. The camp factor and it's storied history would definitely get people in there.
Bye Bye Birdie (without a reality show PLEASE)
Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (WITH Reba McEntire PLEASE)
I think that there could be a Broadway production of Snoopy the Musical. Possibly by Roundabout?
Baby.
Passion.
A Little Night Music.
THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM, is there life after high school?, THE RINK, PURLIE and PROMISES,PROMISES.
WEST SIDE STORY, DREAMGIRLS and APPLAUSE.
I'm surprised no one has started a DREAMGIRLS revival with Frenchie or LaKiesha from AI. They'd be riding the wave from the movie.
If I has $10 million, I do the Roundabout revival of PJ GAME on tour, and just re-do the orchestrations for the leads without the crooner's interp in it.
I'd love to see Faith Prince in HELLO, DOLLY! (if Carol Channing isn't available) or a production of MAME.
In about 5 years or so, I would love to see Falsettos come back.

I agree that a Carrie revival could do very well.
What I really want:
Into The Woods (in two years)
Parade
West Side Story
How about Cabaret! And the exact same production that played only a few years ago!
Oh... wait...

42nd street
Aida
Dreamgirls
I actually think a lot of these would so well. Dreamgirls and Aida especially. Dreamgirls because of the success of the movie and Aida because the tour just shut down. 42nd street is a great musical and I think it may do well depending on the star power.
I am all for A Little Night Music, but I agree that John Doyle needs to stay away! Chess would be GREAT!
If I could pick a straight play, I would go with Angels in America. (OK, everyone can roll their eyes at me) :)
I'd like to see a NEW production of Aida in a few years. I love the previous one, but would be interested in a new take on it. I think Disney will probably keep too much control over any revivals, though.
I'm sure I could rattle off a few"
-City Of Angels--the time has most defintely come
-West Side Story
-They're Playing Our Song (with good cast and good direction, it could have some potential)
-Baby (repeat my previous statement)
I'm suprised no one has said RAGTIME yet, unless I missed it.
It seems to me that the show got even more popular AFTER it closed.
I never got the chance to see this show, so I would love for it to make a return. The music is beautiful, and everyone seems to love it.
Bring Ragtime back!
They were SUPPOSED to do the same production and NYC Opera next spring, but canceled it. I was also very much looking forward to it!
Snoopy! The music is so cute and catchy!

Ooh! I completely forgot Ragtime and Aida. I'd LOVE revivals of both.

Young Pirate Queen
p.s. But who would produce it?
Oh yea--Ragtime most definitely. I'd also love to see Lady In The Dark, but I think it would be too expensive to produce a full production of it. Maybe Encores?
I think i would die of happiness if Hair did a revival! That would be amazzzzzing!
Wait, did no one say FOLLIES yet? How odd! O_o
Encores! already did a revival of LADY IN THE DARK starring Christine Ebersole.
