They let us in around 9:30 which was really nice of them, but the box office didn’t open until 10. Folks in front of me were getting partial view seats but I somehow ended up getting a great orchestra seat! There were lots of folks in line behind me but when I got my ticket there were still rush seats available for both shows."
Wow! That's good to hear. Were there a lot of tickets unsold from the beginning or are some of these cancellation? Lots available is good for us who want to see this and not break the bank.

Went this morning! It's cold, definitely bundle up - warm shoes and socks especially! - if you're going to wait on line in this weather, but if you're prepared it's not too bad. I got there at 7am and was about 20ish people back on the line. Was open to either show and ended up with an orchestra seat for the evening (seat G23). Can't wait!
Definitely seem like the best chance of getting a good seat is by getting a single!

I'm thinking about trying for the matinee on 2/2. If anyone is rushing tomorrow and can report their experience, I'd appreciate it!
Any idea how the snow might affect things? Would it potentially be an opportunity to get there a bit later because people are scared away?

Should be less people. I want to go but the wind is unbearable.
can't imagine anyone actually showed up for any rush lines today.

I was gonna go but it is brutal outside. May take an uber as I am not far, but after box office opens. lol.
That's what I was thinking. Might be a good day to go after the snow lets up just to see if they still have anything.
Got in line as #8 at 8:30, currently 25ish ppl total. People really wanna see music man lol

Damn, guess I won't be going. Completely bat**** crazy to wait in a line like that in this weather, but I respect the grind. Good luck on getting your tickets!

good luck! I guess I will pick another day as the line looks to be crazy today as well. Lol
Was able to get 2 matinee tickets! By the time box office opened there were probably 40-50 people in line, it was a pretty consistent growth from 8:30 on. Definitely the worst weather I’ve rushed in and I am in no hurry to do it again LOL, but I was only in town today so I figured what the hell. Sub $50 orchestra tickets for a show like this don’t come along often! I suppose I’ll know if it was truly worth it after I watch the show - cheers!

Orchestra G 1 and 3. I knew they’ve been giving out nice seats to rush, but I was still surprised to see how nice.

Today was the only day I could rush and I was staying within walking distance, so I bundled and got in line around 9:15. I was about 25th or so in line. The wind really picked up while I was there and I’m not sure if I could have waited much longer. They didn’t let us into the lobby early like I’ve seen some people reporting. I got an orchestra row P, 1 seat off the aisle for the evening show!

Rushed today (Wednesday). Arrived a little before 8, was 8th in line. By 8:30 there were about 12; by 10 there were around 30-40? (didn't count them, just an estimate). Got matinee row B orch center. It wasn't even that cold today (around 35 degrees) but towards the end, it was definitely feeling chilly so be sure to wear many layers! Bring something to sit on and some tissue paper for your nose :)
Also, there was an argument today between some people behind me because someone held a spot for his wife. I'm curious as to what are your opinions about holding spots? The box office said they couldn't do anything about it.

Thanks for the rush update! Were they buying 4 tickets or 2? If 2, then it doesn’t really matter. I have been in several rushes where someone’s friend comes and joins them later. Kind of annoying in my opinion if they use it to get extra seats, but trading on and off to just get the allowed 2 is no issue, in my opinion.
yup if someone is in line and just buys their 2-limit tickets, I don't care who stands with them. If they let someone in who then buys an additional 2-limit tickets, not cool at all. People made decisions to stand in line (some for a long time) based on how many tickets were going to be purchased in front of them.
I rushed last Thurs, 1/27- approx 27th in line @ 9:15am. Was THRILLED to score G 19 & 21. Show has improved a lot since first preview. Whether or not the Act 2 giggle fit between Hugh & Sutton is becoming a bit, they're clearly having a blast and their chemistry is delightful to watch.
Contributing to the rush etiquette discussion, a gentleman who was much further behind in line was asking each individual ahead of him if they were just getting one ticket, and trying to buy their 2nd for $20. Eventually someone confronted him and told him to stop, loudly said "don't be a d*ck!" in the lobby. Lol.
