LIBIDO LIBERALS!
Pinguin, I had read the last threads, but somehow I thought I could talk some sense into him. I know, I know, I'm a little dilluded. It was worth a try, but now I'm tired and since I have to start work at 6:30 am again tomorrow, I need to go to bed!
Anybody have some sleeping pills? I've not been able to fall asleep for hours the last couple of days......argh!
Putting up any sort of fight with art2 usually leads to a valium.
I am sending you a remote Ambien. That should help.
Either that, or just try to figure out the logic behind some of Art2's overstatements, and that may be enough to do the trick.
Or, count libido liberals as they jump into bed.
Sleep tight.
The instant I looked at this thread title... AND who started the thread...
I burst into a fit of laughter.

Thanks YouWantItWhen, that's nice of you. I think I'll go with counting libido liberals. I mean they are everywhere, that should help. Good Night
HAHA, me too LariTheLoud -it seemed too good to be true...
I'm fairly certain by this point that art2, in itself, is a big joke.
If he isn't, he's a sad, sad, fellow. But utterly hilarious, anyway.
That is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen...yay for google images :0)
Threadjack: Yessica, stop by a health food store tomorrow and pick up some Melatonin Tea. I swear by the stuff. It's completely natural and really helps. I will have a cup and can barely hold my eyes open after a half hour. Rather than become addicted, if one uses it daily, you pretty much become immune, so it can't really be abused. And it's not like sleeping pills that make you feel all groggy in the morning. Give it a try.
or...
I love how art2's threads are almost exclusively used for threadjacking...truly fantastic :0)
I really wanted art2 to show up on Fandom_Wank during his first few rounds.
I was disappointed that no one posted him up. Ah, well. This is amusing in itself.
I also heard Valrian (sp?) root was good for insomnia.
That, or a good Tylenol PM.
Ugh, no more drugs! I had an exam on psychopharmacology today and it didn't go very well.
I would just like to join in for a moment to say
1. I like you guys, your fun to read.
2. In the stage show, Angel and collins do most of the romantic moments with Angel in Drag so it makes sense that the film would do the same.
3. I too agree it is sad about Chitty.
Art2, arent you arthurs from imdb.com? Noooo...not here too!
The fact, that even after THAT last thread, people still bother to answer to art2's obsessed non-existent ramblings, is beyond me !

Art have you nothing better to do with your time then to freak out about the, for lack of a better phrase, "minimized homosexual content" in a movie that doesnt even open for another couple of weeks?
Find a hobby or something, please
Correct me if my understanding of the English language is incorrect, but if Columbus truly put the RENT movie through and "anti-gay shredder" wouldn't he be shredding the anti-gayness? Wouldn't it therefore be a pro-gay movie? Or, at the very least, neutral?
Hey, freeadmission! You're on my wavelength! So I guess this means we're going to see EVERYONE making out wildly onscreen. Every ANTI-GAY image removed! The Roger/Benny kiss you never thought you'd see! Mark, Collins and Roger spend an amusing subplot trying to buy a bigger bed for their assorted threeway exploits...
*sighs*
art2... art2... The board must thank you for giving us the best posting memories ever. You bring so many people together in one united front (*cough*againstyou*cough*). It's truly a wonderful thing.

Well, I'll be damned. I take one night to run some errands and catch up on a few things and I miss another episode of "Art2's Talking Out of his @ss."
Fortunately, the above picture was available of the "press conference."
As for the actual topic of discussion, I won't get into it again. The absurdity of this viewpoint was more than refuted in one of the original posts, and art2 isn't adding anything new here. He just likes to repeat himself so he can get everyone else aggravated and read his own words in print.
However, I do encourage anyone who hasn't read the original thread to dive in. After all it was the birth place of the Ps and where I originally made some of my best BWW friends.

art2 just likes to stir up the pot, as he sees anti-gay people, places, and things... in every nook and crannie..he's a one man pity party......in fact I heard he accused his butter of being anti-gay is it would not lay appropriately on the bread. Ignore this guy........all he sees is the entire world out to get him.....
Hehe Elphaba.
However ridiculous art2 is, I find people replying with comments like "If you want to see guys kissing, go watch a porno" to be kind of offensive. How dare gay people want to see gay characters show each other affection in movies! That may not be the intention of some of the comments, but it sort of comes off that way. I would expect people here to be more understanding of wanting to see realistic gay relationships depicted in movies.
Hi Patronus -
We missed you last night.
I was recalling the good old days, where I watched the 3 P's in action.
I think, generally speaking, we ARE understanding... and that's where we're scratching our heads. I'd say the Collins/Angel relationship is VERY realistic and VERY touching in a way that lots of other films have magnificently failed to pull off. Furthermore, it honestly doesn't seem that art2 is interested in a nice, realistic relationship... at least from everything I've read from him.
