I saw the JRB concert w/o Megan, who only performed the second night, but I agree, Scarlett and the NYC Woman were incredible. Humor is most certainly a matter of taste; I guess I'm more attuned to his patter than Danielm's partner. But good news who don't like the between song jokes: TL5Y is a musical play, so no room for adlibs!
Sueleen, there is a clip of "Journey On" from RAGTIME on Michael Rupert's Myspace page, with Julia singing the role of Mother. Follow the link below.

I think, also that my partner may have been a little bit prejudiced against JRB before we saw the show. A friend of ours told us the day before about a very strange audition he had for the tour of Parade that never happened.

"Well, this must be a good show to warrant a typically thoughtful and articulate post from TheEnchantedHunter. Now I know my money is well spent."
Now, go out there and form an opinion of your own. Go on now, get.

Anyone else joining the biggest BWW/LA event so far?"
I've been checking ticketmaster. Hopefully if something opens up I'll be adding my name to the list.
I wanted to be there and add my name to that lovely list of LAer's but on ticketmaster it looks like it is sold out!!
Try calling!
I had problems with ticketmaster as well - I got a ticket by calling.

Wish I were in LA for this one. I've seen both Lauren Kennedy and Julia Murney perform. Both ladies are terrific, but Julia will blow you away with her talent and versatility. She can sing just about anything. LA's gain is NY's loss.
Hurry back, Julia!
Just two weeks from tonight!
I'm still desperately seeking one ticket for Last 5 Years with JRB and Julia Murney. If anyone has a ticket for sale, please hit me up!!!
Bumping this because it is tomorrow!
Yeah
Pop, you forgot my wife Anjilly. She doesn't post as much as me, but she is definitely the better half of our twosome.

I'm so excited... ordered tickets as a birthday present way back in October :)
I can't wait!! I've even had the bizarre dreams....I dreamed I fell asleep during "I'm still Hurting" and didn't wake up until the end. No worries about this one coming true!
I'll be a mess in my classroom on Tuesday morning with the lack of sleep, but it will be worth it!
I'm in, baby!!!!
see you there :)
i expect reviews to cheer me up since i'm down here in florida sick as a dog.
take pictures if you can and i'll put them on julia's site!
No promises but I'll do my best
Feel better!

Stephen (Patronus) and I are sick, so we have two tickets (Row F) for tonight's show that I am trying to sell for face value- only catch is that you'd have to meet me to pick them up at 6:00-ish a few exits north of UCLA.
PM me if you are interested.
Yeah, we are both still feeling less than great and we both have really long weeks at work so if we can get face value we'd be happy.
(We'd happily take more.)
Send Anjily a PM as I won't have online access again until it's a bit too late to make arrangements.
I don't have the tickets here with me, but I am pretty sure that face value is $55.00 each.
Awww, FIDDLESTICKS!!!!
Feel better you guys.
(I want reviews, please)
Feel better, you guys!!
Awww, Patronus and Anji, sorry you are not feeling well.
awwwwww sorry you too can not make it....I wish I hadn't bought my ticket if I had known I could have gotten F
