They should take their time. MOTOWN will run a few years and then they can park in the Lunt-Fontanne right after that ends. Marketing gold.
Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.
Sheer, optimistic hope that the Scientology musical can play next to the Scientology church, of course.

Lightning strikes for Parker and Stone with regularity, so we'll see. I do wish they'd tackle a topic they haven't already eviscerated on South Park several times.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
I think they need to choose between south park and making musicals. The south park episodes have greatly suffered this season. I don't think it's a great idea to take on another musical so early. Let Book of mormon die and then come back in 10-15 years with a raunchy musical.
Exactly, and I hope you're right. The Producers, if anything, has proven to be painful without comedians in the lead roles. And Young Frankenstein was a mess.
These libertarian @sshats are getting big heads because their overrated one-joke farce is a hot ticket. I hope they push millions into this show and it flops and they run away back to Colorado where they can continue to make fun of everyone who's not them.
