"Someone needs to tweet back to Elizabeth Boone. I want to slap her. A show would not just cancel for the heck of it. I can understand the disappointment, but producers were anything but unprofessional to cancel the show if there was a safety concern"
That's a good (and fair) question to ask (or even to ponder) about considering that there doesn't seem (at least from what I can see) to be any reports about that.
I saw the show last night. No technical problems at all to speak of, except the sound mix was loud and at times unbearable. Almost as unbearable as Rebecca Faulkenberry. Sorry, I know she's beloved in some circles, but it's been awhile since I've seen such a lackluster performance. In fact, half the cast was pretty much phoning it in. Can't say I blame them, the audience was huge and restless.
First time seeing the show since its 3rd week of previews (Spidey 1.0?), so quite shocked by just how much was different after hearing of the changes. Definitely better, if the first 30 minutes were interminable, act two really zipped by.
