I had a dream about the series last week in which Carrie's dad died and she was forced to deal with things on the home front. In the dream, her sister tore her a new one and baby Frannie cried whenever Carrie attempted to hold her. So naturally I was blown away by the news she received while skyping with her sister. And Frannie bears an uncanny resemblance to you-know-who.
While I'm looking forward to the season finale, I really hope that there's more interaction between Carrie and daughter next season. But, please don't let there be a kidnapping arc!!!
Melissa, that might've been my favorite part of the entire episode, which to me was so underwhelming. I understand that not every season needs to end on a massive cliffhanger, but after the drive and excitement of this season this episode just felt like a huge letdown.
Yes, I agree the episode was very anti-climatic to the rest of the season. You know Franny is going to have to get kidnapped at some point though. I thought it would happen last night but...
Seemed more of a tribute to late actor James Rebhorn (Carrie's dad) than what I've become accustomed to for a Homeland season finale. It was a nice break from the formula though despite not being overly interesting. Things don't bode well for Quinn, I'm afraid.
