He wrote in another thread that he needed to find rush tickets for another show, after spending so much for elephant man, so that seems like a no.

I just checked with the box office and 'there is no rush/SRO policy at this time'

^ This makes my broke teenage heart happy. But how were they over 100% capacity last week if they didn't do SR?

YES! That makes me happy! Do you ask them at what point in the day they will be releasing them?

on days when the show sells out when the box office opens in the morning, otherwise at whatever point in the day the show sells out.

LightsOut, a friend stopped by the Booth over the weekend and was told standing room, effective after opening, would cost $42 !!! I sincerely hope that's not true. The attendant also said all prices may be raised after opening.

Well $42 is a lot less than $75! I'd still pay that to see the show.

A question for those who have seen this production:

How is the nudity handled? I saw the original production several times and recall it was done profile and was rather brief.

I'm thinking of giving my 9 year old granddaughter to see this version and am curious about how graphic that one scene is.

Thanks in advance!

Update: I just sent you this info in PM, since if someone asked me where they could sit if they wanted to see an actress naked, I wouldn't tell them, but telling you for a good reason does also enable the reverse. Elephant Man SRO/Rush Updated On: 11/21/14 at 02:09 PM

Has anyone done SRO yet now that it's open? If so, what/time did you get the ticket? How much was it?

I went today to get info and was told tickets were $42 and were sold whenever they sold out the performance.

I've been glancing at Telecharge to pick a day where I might attempt SRO. If a performance has sold every last general seat and the only thing left is one premium seat, that does not count as sold out, right?

To the best of my knowledge that is correct. I think some box offices are more lenient than others though with SRO.
