A friend of mine went to the opening of Newsies in Louisville, KY and said that they were not collecting (This was yesterday evening).

The window cards at the River were 200 last night, but a friend told me that at the matinee today they were dropped to 100. Hugh Jackman is also auctioning his tshirts and they went for 7500 each last night and 7000 each today. You can also get a picture with Hugh, Cush and Laura for 2000.

Any information on If/Then signed Playbills and how much they are going for

Thanks for letting me know geek4114. I'm kind of surprised they aren't collecting for BCEFA. I am so excited to see the show. I saw it once on Broadway in July, in the last row of the orchestra, and I can't wait to see it again from the front row!

Anyone know if the Cinderella tour is doing anything? Seeing it tomorrow night and would love to get a poster or something.

At Phantom Broadway last week, they had the following:

Signed Playbills - $20
Red & Pink ribbon pins with the mask - $10 each
Tote bag (I think it was $10)
Carols for the Cure CD ($20 as I remember)
Music Box signed by Norm Lewis - $500
Backstage tour - $500

"Any information on If/Then signed Playbills and how much they are going for"

Nothing about playbills, but cast signed posters are $200 and $100 guitar string bracelets. James Snyder has imprinted and worn dog tags, but no idea how much those are.

The price for the picture was 1500 tonight at the River. A friend who was there told me that. The 1500 is not per person, but per group. So it can be up to 4 people I believe.

I was at the Last Ship tonight and was very surprised that they weren't doing BCEFA. I asked and was told maybe Sat. The show opened two weeks ago. They should have been doing it since then. Updated On: 11/20/14 at 10:59 PM

Were the posters at RIVER still $100 or did they go back up to $200? I'm just wondering how much money I need to bring to get one of them. Anyone want to post a picture of the poster?

I'm surprised that LAST SHIP wasn't participating either. I saw it a week and a half ago and that had been a good two weeks after the opening. The merch guy was a little abrupt and rude with his response not only to me, but someone else a few days prior, and an elderly woman who asked a moment after I did.

Anything with DISGRACED or THE REAL THING?

Are the items at CABARET signed by Emma Stone? Did they make a new poster with her credit listing or did she sign ones that Michelle Williams signed?

This evening, "On The Town" had dropped the signed window cards to $80 (signed playbills are still $40). They were offering backstage tours for $100 per person (with larger groups, i.e. 5+, price p/p is negotiable.

When I went to get an "It's Only A Play" window card after Sat's matinee show, they offered 7-8 slots for selfies with the cast - about $1500 (p/p vs the group??). The guy mentioned that earlier in the collection run, they had selfies with only Broderick and Lane that went for 10k!

Going to see The Real Thing on Sun and Cabaret on Mon so I will report back if they have anything.

Yes the River posters are still 100. It is the shot that is outsude the theatre, of a fishing shack on the water. It all gray and black, very muted.

THE REAL THING - $100 signed window cards and $40 signed Playbills.
Cast members (Cynthia Nixon and Ewan McGregor were on bucket brigade too!). The whole cast minus Madeline Weinstein (who plays Debbie) came out to sign at stage door.

Anyone know if LAST SHIP has started participating yet? Or if SIDE SHOW has signed merch? Any word on DELICATE BALANCE?

Thanks!

CABARET had signed:
- window cards $100 (with Emma's name on the new WC)
- calendars (on the front only) $60; unsigned for $40
- carols for a cure CD $20
- carnival cutouts (where you can put your face through) of Emcee/Kit Kat Club boy/girl for $10 per pic

Cumming made the speech regarding the illegal bootleg photo/video tonight too...

"The Last Ship is still not participating as of yesterday."

That's strange. I saw the show Saturday evening 11/22 and they did collect. Playbills for $40, Posters for $150, signed by cast and Sting. Plus Carols for a Cure. Updated On: 11/25/14 at 11:30 AM

When I went just over a week ago, I bought a calendar (not signed) for $20. Huh.

I saw a matinee of NEWSIES in Louisville and they WERE collecting. Steve Blanchard (Pulitzer) gave a nice speech after the show. They did not, however, offer any signed posters or merchandise. They just asked for donations and had individuals in the lobby with buckets afterward.

TheatreKid3, I also saw Newsies in Louisville (Saturday matinee), and they did collect. I was just hoping that they would have signed posters because I think they would have been able to raise even more money for BCEFA.

Thats really odd. I went to closing night in Louisville and they were not collecting or selling merch. Why would they only do it at matinees?

I have had friends who have toured before and they said for BCEFA, they typically do not collect on the opening night/closing night for each city. Those days are a little too hectic to organize collections. Also I know some theaters, like one in Pittsburgh, only allow them to collect on a few nights. Non-profit organizations don't like to have their patrons donate to other non-profits I guess...

Shout out to Nick Adams and Chandra Lee Schwartz of the Wicked tour...Sunday night in San Diego they gave the most entertaining yet effective call for BCEFA collections I can ever recall seeing (and I've sat through a lot). No note cards, no flat "I'm doing this because I have to" affect, they had fun with it and clearly cared. Chandra Lee closed with the fact that a portion of the money stays in the tour city, which was important to her because San Diego is her home town, which left everyone on a high note. And while I'm at it, big props to Tim Kazurinsky, who was collecting and doing pictures in the lobby for 20-30min...I took pics of different groups of friends with him both at the front and back ends of that time and he could not have been lovelier either time.

Sorry, you may be right... I definitely know the signed calendars were $60 tho. Apologies.
