If we've been fortunate enough to have heard Adam Pascal's rendition of "Bring Him Home" we know that this is a role he was born to do. Please sign the petition at the bottom so it can be submitted to the powers that be of Broadway...
"Bring Him Home" to the Imperial theater this fall...
LOL. This doesn't even have 600 signatures yet. it's goal is only 1k! Because 1000 signatures would instill in the producers that he'd sell tix.
The article that first introduced this a few days ago left a horrid taste in my mouth about him.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I was going to leave this forum but saw this silly post because he is a rock singer and not classically trained and thus makes him unable to do the role

It always confuses me when people think the music is Les Miserables requires classically trained singers... if anything, toss in the best pop singers you can find. Because it's all, you know, pop music.
Les Miserables began as a fusion of pop, rock opera, and classical/operetta. As the show has progressed through history, the pop and rock opera elements have been smoothed over, and the show has become modern pop operetta more than anything with a foot in rock.
I saw a production in Pittsburgh last year that used a primarily rock sound in the vocalists, and it worked very well- made the show sound fresh and new because the sound has so often become a vocal replica of the more legit productions.
