I have a competition soon, need a tenor song from a musical that will blow judges minds, I can belt really well and my range is around (g2 - B5). Also needs to be a song that isn't overdone lol!

Really need your guys help!!! So please message on here lol
How many times are you going to post/bump this? Someone did respond on the off topic board.. FYI...these boards are pretty quiet on the weekends. Whay don't you like the myriad of songs you listed on the other thread. Doesn't sound like you need MORE, just need to make a choice and make it work.

Sorry I'm just really worried about this and it just means a lot to me getting other people inference, and I posted on the other forum place cause idk who's going to see what so I thought it would be good to branch out!

I usually use Love Can't Happen from Grand Hotel when I'm in a situation where I'm trying to show my vocal range.
Second Lonely House.
Also I Do Not Know A Day I Did Not Love You from TWO BY TWO.
Although I hate the show, "Pity The Child" from Chess has enough pyrotechnics to create the effect it sounds like you seek. But you'll have to transpose it down a step to fit the range you specify.
"One Song Glory" has also been very popular to show off an upper register (although I think it's used less than it was back during Rent's first years).

Cannot go wrong with "Maria" and that would be the age range of Tony.

Thanks guys, keep em
coming!
A gentle reminder. It is ultimately not the song. It is the singer. Pick one and get to work. The most awesome song in the world poorly sung is not a winner.

This is just getting stupid now. You have enough songs you just want to hear yourself. If you do not have an audition song prepared all the suggestions in the world will not help you. And you will never be able to focus on one song from all these suggestions. Just act grown up pick one out and do yourself a favor and rehearse it. And stop saying keep them coming.
