I would and I wouldn't. I would only to help improve things that would get mentioned negativly on here. And I wouldn't want to because there is always someone bound to hate your performance or you in particular. You have to take the good with the bad, but it would still tear me up inside. Thoughts?

I definitely would, because I'm a narcissistic attention whore. I'm not kidding.

No way in the world. Some of the comments on this board about performers are positively soul destroying.

*thinks about it*

Ok, I'd have to agree with Rathnait...I'm an attention whore...

I would definitely read BWW and I would post on the board as well

I have to say I think I would read it, just because I would be fascinated that there could be SO much discussion over someone so insignificant (ie me).

I have mentioned this site to a few friends connected with the business and they seem to agree that it's a bad idea for actors to read what's posted here. Sort of like reading reviews. You can't believe them because if you believe the good ones...

But I suppose if an actor is really good looking and can at least stay on pitch they'd be safe to poke around here.

It's a very good question and one I can't answer. I got relatively good reviews here when I did my act last year, but I don't know how well I would have taken negative criticism (not that I don't deserve it from time to time.) I have an ego just like everyone else and it's fragile - so I'm not sure if I would peruse this site if I were a "name".

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

I guess the key is I just don't care what people say about me, not anymore and certainly not on here.

If I became a star, I don't think I would have time to sit online and post on BWW, and if I did, I would want to, but I wouldn't. Some of the comments on here are mean, and yes, everyone has their own opinions, but I think that it would effect me too much. I wouldn't read my own reviews either, well, not all of them.

I've got rabbit ears and I definitely would.

I've actually been known to google myself after a show to see if I've been mentioned in the local newspaper.
