For whatever reason, whether it is because of its rarity or because of sentiment.

Mine would be:

"Sweeney" OBC and Barcelona Cast recordings
"The Capeman" OBC - LOVE THIS SHOW!!!! What an unfortunate disaster it turned out to be.
"Follies" - OBC
"A Little Night Music" Royal National Theater Recording - Judi Dench's "Send in the Clowns" still gives me chills.
"Edwin Drood" OBC - Cleo Laine's "Wages of Sin" always makes me sad for some reason.

'A Little Night Music' Royal National Theatre - for the reason above.
Moby Dick OLC - my first West End musical
Witches of Eastwick OLC - this CD (and show) bouyed me up during a particularly difficult time, for which I'm thankful re: Your most treasured recording?
Follies OBC LP - bought at a car boot sale for £1.50 ($2.60), only to find afterwards that it was signed by Sondheim!

Add another vote for RNT's Night Music. Also the 1991 Paris cast recording of Les Mis is my favorite recording of the show. I'll also never regret buying the Reprise Musical Theatre series...South Pacific, Guys & Dolls, Finian's Rainbow, and Kiss My Kate, all sung by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Keely Smith, Rosemary Clooney, Debbie Reynolds etc.

I really love my Disney's "On The Record" cd. Ashley Brown and Andrew are amazing. Now that the show is gone, I'm glad to have the cd.

Phantom of the Opera with Crawford, Brightman and Barton. Definitely for sentiment, but I also still adore the show.

The OBC and Revival recordings of 'Sweeney Todd' = the two greatest recordings of musical theater, in my opinion.

I love my Assassins recordings. They're still in print, but I love them (goes to hug CDs about shooting presidents) (realizes she should be in mental institution).

If Percy Blakeney were in Les Mis....

Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)
