Cold Case is a great show with a wonderful ensemble cast. I actually don't particularly like Tracie's character on the show. The character who she replaced was better, in my opinion. Hopefully, with time, her character will be a better fit with the rest of the cast than she is now.
The character who is the victim each week has a much smaller part than anyone else so it's unlikely that you'll have much of a problem with his acting.
"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife
Well, great and sad news. Great to see him on the show. Sad, like Em said, to watch him murdered
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
I'm addicted to crime shows. Combining crime shows with Adam is kind of like my definition of heaven.
As for the victim-has-a-small-part thing...I don't think that's particularly true of Cold Case. On other shows like Law and Order, the victim is usually only in the first scene and we see them get killed, but Cold Case is filled with flashbacks.
And I mean...he's playing a singer, so we'd better hear him sing? Or I will cry. A lot.

downtowndiva, I said the victim "has a much smaller part than anyone else" which is true. Flashbacks or not, the victim is seen far less than the ensemble cast and the other suspects. I've watched this show since it began so I can say that with a fair degree of certainty. :)
Yay! And I bet he'll be a lovely corpse (like Anthony in L&O). Singing Adam, lovely Tracie...how can it get any better?
1. Ted Allen: Everyone has an interesting life if you ask the right questions.
2. Great buckets of Spoffnor, they're going to sing!
3. "I love shrubs that are historical." -Johnny and The Sprites
4. "We're not singing it to you, we're singing it for us." -Rosario Dawson, about La Vie Boheme
5. "The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." -The History Boys
6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys
erin, I wasn't arguing with you, it just seemed that some of the people who responded thought he had like a REALLY tiny part. I wanted to make sure people didn't just think he got shot and then that's it. It's a way better gig to be a victim on Cold Case than SVU.
I too am a Cold Case addict.
