Oh my God! I went to the Les Miz audition on Monday and I waited all afternoon because they said they would see non equity "time permitting." I waited for hours but finally was told that they would see some of us. There was one woman in the room listening to auditions and she was very nice. I went in and sang "If I Loved You" and just this morning I got a call saying that they want to see me again on the 24th!!!!!! I'm about to die!!!!!
Congrats!! That's really exciting! Break a leg at your callback!

Wow that's really exciting. Congratz!!! and Break a leg.
I think that is really cool, considering they were only seeing Equity people, and the fact that they took the time to see some non-equity people is really great. Break at leg at your callback!
yes I did! This is quite an accomplishment if you ask me! ( :
So, you joined the board to brag?
Jesus Christ, people. Is there anything wrong with just being supportive?
Congrats on the callback!
Thanks breakingtheCircle!! Nothing could get me down right now!
I think you have every right to brag!!! Congrats and good luck!!! Keep us updated!
Heck yes they have every right to brag. This is a big opportunity. Did they say for what you were being called back for.

They told me just to sing what I did at the audition but the whole song.
Congrats and keep us posted!

Very nice! I auditioned four times before I got cast in a tour for Les Miz. Good luck!
Congrats! That is soooooooooo awesome! Make sure to let us know how it works out for you...
She probably isn't being called back for anything specific at this moment. They'll look at her again, do something beyond those cattle calls and then they'll see if they want to progress with her for a role or chorus.
Congrats, Soprano. That is a very good thing!

I would not call that braging.
I remember there is different topic discussing if they will take non-equity or something like that. Some people said save the time and don't go.
I think this post is totally fine.
I sort of geared the audition for Cosette. I don't think I'd be right for anything else in the show....too young for Fantine.
Yep, I was one of the ones saying don't bother going - but I'm so glad you did, sopraho! Congrats - that is SO exciting!!!

I toured in the ensemble - and it was much more fun than doing a lead. I sang the role of Enjolras a few times though - still, the ensemble for Les Miz rocks. I fthey offer it - don't turn it down! lol.

Congratulations!
This is BROADWAY World, of course this is the perfect place to come and share your excitement.
I wish you the best!
Congrats!! and good luck on the callback! i remember reading that Kendra Kassebaum had about 15 callbacks before she got Glinda so dont get discouraged and keep it up! :)
Considering you listed yourself as "male" on you BWW profile...this should be fun!
Ya know I really didn't like the touring ladies...but Hey Mr. Producer, you are really mixing it up, DUDE!
PB ENT - "male" is the default setting I believe when you sign up. It took me a while to even realize I was listed as "male" before I went and changed it.
sopranobiz - welcome to the boards and congrats!
