Okay this isn't helpful because you can't do it...but Princesses! Oh man what a trainwreck...sorry, I'm sort of just reminiscing.

is 'smile' funny? like 'drop dead gorgeous' /'little miss sunshine' campy fun?

Yeah, some of it is very campy. And you could certainly play it up. I think the second half drags, but its a good show The music is great.
THE ROAR OF THE GREASEPAINT THE SMELL OF THE CROWD
HENRY SWEET HENRY
Both rarely done but worth looking into...

smile is campy fun. i have done it with very few guys...dont forget you need two youngish boys too...anyhoo if you have a small cast of female you can make the ensemble roles even bigger. i did it with 8 girls in the competetion plus the judges...but the ensemble isnt terrible anyway...they all have solos and featured moments. dont forget you will need to figure out how to deal with the naked photo.
Sorry, but HENRY isnt predominately women. It has an even balance in genders. Yes, thrre's the schoolgirls, but there's also a "hippie" chorus at the top of Act Two that's predominately men.

What might be fun would be to take something like IRMA LA DOUCE, which is all men and one woman, and switch the genders.
The Rink. You could make the construction workers female.
I CAN'T KEEP RUNNING IN PLACE
Good size cast of women dealing with women issues. Also, some songs are a little racy. But there aren't any men.
MENOPAUSE!
The revue JERRY'S GIRLS was staged here recently with 9 ladies and I see no reason why that number could not be expanded.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
A, MY NAME IS ALICE
a bit overdone in my opinion, but check it out anyways.

This would be highly illegal unless written permission is recieved from the author's or whoever runs the author's estates. Which is doubtful.
taboo123 - Why won't you touch the NUNSENSE shows? They have larger cast versions of Nunsense and Nuncrackers available now. AND they are fun to do and always hugely popular with audiences. Not sure about casting for the large cast versions, but NUNCRACKERS has at least one male role in it already. So you could utilize both the low number of guys and have lots of stuff to do for all your ladies.
I Can't Keep Running in Place ... an off-Broadway musical from the 1980s about a woman's group therapy session ... very cute show.
Quilters was an all-female cast as well I believe.
