So I am going to the open call next week for Little Mermaid, the search for a new Ariel, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should sing? I have been told it's a bad idea to sing Disney for a Disney audition, they also want something that shows off your soprano range, any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sisquo's "Thong Song" is always a winner.

As overdone as it is, I think "In My Life" from Les Miz would work really well.
Something from PHANTOM?
It got Sierra noticed.
Just walk into the audition and say:
"I will work for scale".
That'll get their attention.

Lmao. I read that and thought it said "festivous" and was going to say "I think you mean 'facetious.'"

Or you can have a Festivus for the rest of us!

I used it in an essay for school. My teacher must have enjoyed it because she wrote back "LOL".
