Most Broadway performers are more than willing to let you take a photograph with them at the door after the show. However, I know that some of the bigger stars (LuPone for instance) won't stop for personal pictures.
Anyone know the lowdown on Angela Lansbury?
I seem to remember seeing pictures with fans from DEUCE.

She won't be able to refuse if you sing a chorus of "Bosom Buddy"

There isn't a bigger star than Loretta Swit and she will not allow anyone to take pictures of her unless she's lit properly.
Understandable.
Angela wouldn't take pictures on Saturday night but there was an unbelievable amount of people there. At Deuce there was never that many, so maybe it depends on how many people are there because she signed for everybody.

A good friend of mine had her picture taken with her after Deuce, it probably depends on her mood though.
I'm going to go with... sometimes.
I got a picture with her after Deuce, and it wasn't that empty the day that I was there.
It was fairly crowded when I was there as well.
(Confession: I didn't see Deuce. I just went to the stagedoor, because I didn't think I could sit through it.)
What a great picture. Thanks for posting it.
Thanks. It's one of my most prized possessions. I have it framed on my wall.
I went to the first preview and she didn't refuse, but seemed to sort of put off that vibe. She still allowed photos OF her though, which is leaps above other actors. Like for instance Mary Louise Parker, [quick tangent] who I absolutely loved in Angels and on Weeds. Although she was nothing but gracious at the stage door (I gushed like crazy about her Harper and Nancy, respectfully leaving out any mention of her "Hipper Hedda" and she smiled and said thank you that that made her night since she had been having a really ****ty one) we were all informed VERY STRICTLY that no photographs were allowed to be taken at any point. So...odd that that one moment Out-Diva'd even Patti [end tangent]. Although it was a joy to meet Angela Lansbury (not even closely trumped by getting to watch her from the front row, or really EVER on stage) and get her autograph, I thought the nicest one of all was Christine Ebersole. She signed things (including a friend who brought a few blasts from Ebersole's past), hugged a couple of people, and even let others take pictures with her (I was too starstruck to ask for some reason, which I now kind of regret, but oh well). It being the first preview and all, I was surprised by some behaviors. Everett signed as well, but wasn't exactly as kind as Christine. Atkinson didn't even come out and two others (Rush and O'Connor) rushed by everyone without so much as a nod. So I guess it just depends on the person and the circumstance.

That picture is too cute! Thanks for sharing!
Will Ebersole and Lansbury come out the stagedoor after a matinee?
I got this picture on the second preview. Show is awesome! I waited until the crowd lessened, and I asked, and she said if I was quick about it. (But in a nice way)

I think that's exactly what she said to me too. I may have also asked her to sign my Sweeney Todd poster...

mormonophobic, so Mary Louise didn't even allow pictures of herself?
By the way, does Rupert take pictures?
Thanks
TheActr97J, great picture! And you look really cute!
