The problem with the broke campaign narrative is that it doesn't take that long to catch up, which was shown in the 2012 election.  Of course, Romney still lost, but who knows what impact it will have when DT's ads start running (and they will).

About half way into this article, there are details about how the fundraising is about to take off.

When looking at poll numbers, it's important to remember that not all polls are created equal.  538 ranks almost every pollster, grading them and showing their house lean.  The folks at 538 haven't even attempted to make any sort of characterizations yet.

The Dems are supposedly trying to get Lin Manuel Miranda, among other pop stars, to perform at the convention. I guess they need to be prepared to possibly offset an appearance by Scott Baio at the GOP convention.

Step 1: Bernie goes away. At this point, Mrs. Clinton doesn't need him and his dopey followers

Step 2: Pick a VP candidate 

Step 3: Keep making great speeches 

Step 4: scope out the RNC. Don't forget that Trump could be dumped and replaced by ????

Step 5: prepare for the first debate with Trump. It will be fascinating and ugly. As long as Mrs. C. stays calm and collected, all will be fine. And if Trump brings out garbage, tell him that "Marla Maples says hi. And your daughter says 'Where's my allowance?'"

Have been watching Trump's speech live. Had to turn it off after his use of all his catchphrases then tryng to pin the de-stablization of the Middle Wast and the rise of Isil on Hillary. I also knew very quickkly where his two teleprompters were.
