This fundraising email went out to everyone on Hillary's list, with the subject line "Hi, I'm Tim":

PalJoey --
Joining this team is the greatest honor of my life -- except for meeting and marrying my brilliant wife, Anne, of course.
I know Hillary’s longtime supporters will be as excited as I am -- chip in $5, and let's head into our convention with a fresh burst of momentum:
I can't wait to get to know you. See you out there.
Tim
And this spread like wildfire around the social media pages of women and gay men all across the country:

Bernie busted me, call Clooney.
Boring? That was the knock on Kaine. Watch his rollout speech and decide for yourself. What an impressive person!

Bernie should be humiliated after the latest DNC e-mail leaks.
Fantastic speech from Tim Kaine. I'm with them.
HuffPo is reporting that Blioomberg will endorse Clinto in s speech at the convention.
Ben Jealous is now willing to endorse Hillary now that DWS has been swiftly dealt with. Bless her heart...she's now hoist with her own petard
Clinton/Kaine are being interviewed on 60 Minutes right now.
Warren has been named as the keynote speaker, which is fantastic news. This should mean her focus will be on positive vision rather than bashing Trump. Tonight's lineup includes Warren, Booker, Sanders, and FLOTUS. Not bad.
What a thrilling day this will be.
The acid test about Sanders speech tonight will be how much time he talks about her versus himself. There will be the blowing of his own horn and how much the "revolution" is changing America. If he starts going over the statistics of his campaign and what they accomplished, he'll lose most of the respect I had for him.
That's a killer lineup. And only for one night. We've still got Kaine, POTUS, Pres. Clinton and of course the candidate herself to come. It's hard to deny that the Dems have the marquee talent this year.
I was called a troll in a Bernie group just by saying I'd rather have Clinton over trump.
I hope the Bernie or bust doesn't gain too much momentum to tear the democrats and cause trump to win.
We all agree that Trump is title holder of America's Top Narcissist but I believe we've discovered his leading challenger.
Why Debbie, Why?
I don't understand why she just didn't step back into the shadows for a while. This whole debacle really smacks of Clinton Nepotism. I can see people on the fence on Clinton falling to the other side over this.
SNAFU, I don't see how the Clintons can be singled out for nepotism. It's part and parcel of life here inside the Beltway. In fact, there are far fewer folks with the last names of Clinton and Obama who've held public office than from the ranks of certain political dynasties. I can think of at least two families in which public office is all but an entitlement with both sides of the divide equally represented.
But this certainly plays into the insider versus outsider theme that is bolstering Trump.
I have to force myself to return to focusing on the positives. Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine have a good chance of being elected the next POTUS and VP. I'm working on deadline and will likely miss most of the convention coverage until Hillary's speech. Happy watching everyone!
Javero, I too am trying to focus on the positives. However sometimes I really don't understand the thought process behind what comes across as missteps. Had HRC waited a short time before reintroducing her it would have made less of a negative statement.
Looking forward to the convention. The RNC really scared the crap out of me. Somehow I felt I was watching historical newsreels of a dystopian future.
It can be hard to keep up with developments in real-time. Snaf, what exactly are you referring to? Has Hillary announced some new role for DWS?
It will be very telling to see if Clinton gets a bump from the convention. The RNC was an error prone clusteryouknowwhat, but Trump has clearly gotten a bump from it. With the Dems' lineup, she should get a major boost in the polls.
Well, since you twisted my arm SNAFU... I was hoping the planners tapped Jennifer Granholm to gavel in the convention. She arguably would have been a safer choice than Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. I mean, come on. The Philadelphia Police Union wasn't really feeling Hillary to begin with and now the DNC swaps out DWS for a city mayor who has a tenuous relationship with her own city's police force. FauxNews is going to have a field day with this.
Now that the Berners have booed Bernie, they are officially the Second Worst People in the world, after Trump supporters, who are obviously the First Worst People in the World.
